💙Despite her namesake the willowy widow was more like a naughty kitten, something she proved with the way she took up a perch on the edge of the table. Her sleek frame leaning casually back on one arm, while her free hand idly scrolled through her phone; completely tuned out from the room around her. That was until she felt the soft touch of someone's fingers grazing over her porcelain hand, pulling her pale blue eyes from her phone curiously to see whomever it was that touched her. Instantly making her gaze slowly climb up from his hand to the handsome face it belonged to, before letting a soft sensual smile slip over her cherry painted lips. "Hmmm, bonsoir, ingénieur. I don't zink I've seen jou around before."

💙Typically the slender vixen was flawless in the towering heels she wore so religiously, that she was more than certain no one besides a select two had ever seen her in anything else. It seemed though that fate had other plans for her, as the next step Madilin took around the corner caused her heel to catch on the seam in the floor. Instantly drawing a sharp surprised breath from the raven haired minx as she found herself flying forward. Before she could even think to catch herself, the slim bleu felt a set of strong hands catching her in an instant. It taking her a moment to gather herself as her heart raced from the adrenaline of the fall, and the sheer embarrassment of someone catching her being anything but perfect.

💙"Oh, merci." Madilin murmured in a soft grateful breath, before her words faded on her tongue in awe as she looked up to see who had been so nice enough to catch her. Her pale blue eyes instantly climbing up the beautiful towering beast of a man that held her, making her debate whether or not she even wanted to pull out of his grasp at all. "It must be mon lucky day to 'ave such a 'andsome guardian angel.~" The sultry kitten purred out in a satin lined breath as she steadied herself on her feet again, though not making attempts to pull away from him as she kept her slime porcelain hands on his forearms.

          a sentiment he’d been getting with increased frequency since the battle with steppenwolf and the subsequent solidification of the justice league.  clark ( and therefore, superman ) was trying to take it slow by reintegrating into the world.  he was trying to help his mother get the farm back on track, which is always a fickle thing.  even if bruce owned the bank at this point, he still didn’t want to put too much of a financial burden on the establishment.  besides, getting back to his roots was what his soul really needed.  it helped after the battle with general zod and it helped after lex luthor threatened his family.

          there were certain cries for help he couldn’t ignore, though.  whatever down time he needed on a personal level, the world was still moving.  he wasn’t ever going to be ready to get back in the world if he didn’t just throw himself out there.

           he was back in metropolis, trying to get paperwork together for a return to the daily planet when he heard the sound of wood creaking.  normally, this wasn’t an odd occurrence since he heard it all the time and for a variety of reasons.  this happened to be a construction sight.  soon there was the creak of metal and the exclamation of voices.  a swift change in outfits meant he was holding up part of a building several moments later.
