context: you’re anri teieri’s younger sister who helps out from time to time and a possible future assistant manger but when the blue lock team is on break you get a call from rin itoshi.

your dialogue is pink, rins dialogue is blue, isagi and bachiras dialogue is green

you suddenly get a call from a random number that you don’t have saved but when you answer it, you hear a familiar voice.

phone call dialogue

“uhh rin is that you?”

“yes, is that an issue?”

“no not at all, what are you calling for and how did you get my number? no one at blue lock has my number except my sister”

“i pulled some strings and was able to get your number from anri, i hope that was okay. i just wanted to ask you about something”

“you could’ve just asked me for it but go on, i’m curious”

“would you like to go on a date with me?”

you think to yourself “WHATT??

THIS IS SO RANDOM”

you’re lost in your own head and haven’t answered rin yet so he says “hello?? y/n are you there?”

thinking to yourself once again “oh shit i need to give him an answer”

“yes i am, sorry for the wait but yes i’d love to go on a date”

he finishes the call by saying “okay then, i’ll text you when i find a spot it’d like to take you to. see you then y/n”

“bye rin! i’ll see you then”

when he hangs up he grins a little, he doesn’t realize isagi and bachira were listening to him from a near by corner.

“no way.. RIN HAS A DATE WITH

Y/N TEIERI??”

isagi whispers covering bachiras mouth “bachira shhhh.. he’ll hear us if you shout out loud”

rin turns around because of the noise and walks towards. he sees the two nosey boys trying to act calm.

rin frustrated and embarrassingly tells them both “say anything about this to anyone and i’ll crush you on and off the field, got it?”

“okay, i mean it’s not that big of a deal. we all see you fawning over her when she comes to help anri” isagi says calmly

“AYE AYE CAPTAIN” bachira says while laughing

“geez you’re so childish, now move.” comes from rins mouth

later that night

you’re lying in bed with so many butterflies just imagining how the date will go

“i can’t believe rin itoshi out of all people asked me out, i never would’ve expected it” you say to yourself. little do you know that ever since anri introduced you as her little sister and a possible future assistant manager for blue lock, he’s had his eyes on you. his admiration for you grows stronger everytime he sees you but he didn’t know how to handle it so he directly went to your sister for advice and her blessing to take you out. as you shut your eyes to try to sleep but you remember that you need to pick out an outfit to see him in.

panicking you rummage through your closet and pick out a few options and set them aside. once you do that you’re able to fall asleep now.

the next day

rin texts you early in the morning before he gets ready to train

“hey y/n i picked out a place to take you to. is a cafe is okay with you? i thought a more casual date would be comfortable for a first date. about the day, is 2 days from now around 11 am - 12 pm good for you? i was thinking about a brunch date. let me know if that’s all okay”

rin wakes up quite early so you see his text 2 hours later.

you respond with “yes, that’s great!! i can’t wait to see you then, i hope your training is going well. i would assume you’re still training, when you’re done text me.”

an hour later

you get a text from rin while you’re relaxing at your house doing skin care and watching your favorite show

“hey y/n i just got done training. i’m sorry it took so long”

“no worries rin, i’m a bit busy myself”

“yeah? what are you doing?”

“i’m doing skin care and watching my favorite show!”

“that sounds fun, that must be the secret to your beauty.” rin sends that text nervously. he’s been wanting to tell you something like that for ages.

you pause your show in complete shock. your thoughts take over “did he really just say that? oh my gosh.” your heart is skipping beats. no boy has ever told you something like that before.

“thank you so much rin, that’s very nice of you. that must be the secret then, anri taught me a lot about doing my skin care.”

“that’s nice of her”

“soo what are you doing rin?”

“just texting you before i hop in the shower. isagi and bachira interrupted my training multiples so my training was longer than usual.”

“that’s sounds exactly like those two but anyways rin, i’ll let you go take your shower now.”

“enjoy your show y/n, we should watch it together soon. if you’re watching it then it must be good.”

“maybe we should, but go take your shower before they interfere with that next. LMAO”

“you’re right. okay gotta go i can sense their presence.”

“byeee rin!”

“bye y/n.”
