So in the Dracula au when do vampire children start to show their first signs of well being vampires? Do they start to grow fangs or crave blood?
@mostie01
You always manage to get me thinking with your questions. Good job, keep it up! XD
As youmight know, the toddler phase is one of the most important phases in child development (at least that s what my former biology teacher always preached). The children go through great cognitive, emotional and social development. It would only seem logic that the first signs of being a vampire, would show during this phase as well. (I cannot give you a clear age, because I kind of messed it up in my au by saying that real vampire children age differently than humans).
It would also be logical that they start with growing fangs. Their gums hurt, they start to bite everything to ease the pressure and eventually, once the fangs are fully developed, the vampire children start craving blood. Before they do, they consume milk (from their mother) and other ‘human’ food.
I hoped that answered your question. ^^

First Signs
“What is this...?” He asked himself as he slumped against the side of a building. He started coughing, blood spurting out as he sunk to the ground. Alex held his chest as he started breathing funny, unsure of what was happening to him. He continued coughing, it gradually getting worse until he eventually passed out from exhaustion.
Alex didn’t wake until a few hours later, still slumped against the same wall he was at. What was that? What happened all of the sudden? He had thought to himself, clearing his throat. He could still taste the blood in his mouth and it made him cringe. He shook his head, rubbing it gently as well as rubbing at his chest.
“Alright Alex...Get a hold of yourself. You probably just ate something that got caught in a weird spot” He mumbled to himself and stretched his body out.
