Don't let anyone tell you what is happening is normal. Don't let them tell you that Kilmar Abrego Garcia was a gang member. Don't let them tell you that he was "deported" and "sent home." He was not. He was here legally, was going through the proper channels as asylum seeker, and then he was kidnapped and sent to a torture prison in El Salvador. He was never convicted of any crime and there's no evidence to suggest he was affiliated with MS-13. The worst they could find was that there was a restraining order against him by his wife, the same wife who is pleading for his return. Regardless of what he may have done, hell even if he voted for Trump, nobody deserves to be kidnapped by the state, shipped somewhere without due process, and imprisoned without convictions.
This was not deportation. This was kidnapping and human trafficking. Trump's regime is paying President Bukele to KEEP the people they have shipped off there. He is using OUR TAX DOLLARS TO KEEP PEOPLE AT A PRISON FROM WHICH NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN RELEASED AND YET THEY STILL HAVE ROOM FOR MORE!!
Cruelty is the point and they're testing the waters to see how much they can get away with. Weeks ago it was "We're deporting the violent criminals" then it was "We're deporting the non-violent criminals" then it was "We're deporting ALL undocumented migrants" then it's "We're deporting permanent residence holders, green card holders, and asylum seekers because they said we can't help Israel blow up Gazans." Now it's "We're gearing up to send our 'homegrown terrorists'." That is us. That is YOU. That is ME.
