I have my first binder! It’s a small gc2b half tank. I just wore it kind of for the first time. I tried it on as soon as I got it, but I had to take it off right after because I was at school and it was really obvious under what I was wearing that day. Today was the first day I wore it for a sustained period of time. I put it on after gym class and wore it for 3 and a half hours before taking it off.
It’s really hard to put on but I think it’s easier to take off. It was uncomfortable for the first 2-3 minutes and I worried if I should have sized up (small is the correct size for me by all the measurements) but after I had it on for a couple minutes it felt fine. I was comfortable enough to not focus on the compressed feeling, I didn’t forget I was wearing it bc I was excited lol. I kept tapping and touching my chest it was so flat! I took it off just now because it was beginning to feel uncomfortable and I was more aware of the feeling of it on my shoulders and ribs.
The maximum amount of time to wear a binder is 6-8 hours, which is true, but it’s important to remember that you cannot wear a binder for that long for be first time. 3.5 hours was all I could do today. Don’t wear a new binder for 8 hours and don’t bind for the first time for a full 8 hours, it will not feel good or be good for your body. Eventually you’ll probably be able to bind for 6-8 hours, but don’t push your body. This is a new experience and you have to get used to it, and the binder probably had to naturally stretch out a bit.
Don’t worry if you can’t wear a binder for 8 hours for the first time, your body has to adjust and t can take time. Be aware of how you’re feeling physically and take care of your body and mind.

Sorry the sun was in my eyes
I thought yall was lying about gender euphoria. Nope just me.
My binder came in!
It does feel a little weird, like a snug sports bra, but I think I just have to get used to it. But it feels great just walking around and seeing my reflection!
My first (and failed) attempt at book binding. It's okay. I am learning. Need thicker thread and to just try again. This thread snapped on me. We'll get there.
I’m nearly 24. My first binder arrived today. I have never been happier than I am in this moment. I didn’t really think my chest was that big of an issue for me. I just wanted to try one out. I put it on with the shirt I’d been wearing all day and I fully started crying. It’s so freeing! And I had to share this with someone
i put on a binder for the first time! i cried like a baby. i’m so happy my chest is so flat!
