#first time cosplayer

My Diasomnia dorm armband from Japan arrived today (July 15, 2025)! You wouldn't say this is secondhand with how mint it looks, but it is.

Going to use the armband in combination with a Lilia Vanrouge (dorm uniform) later this year possibly during the Heroes Dutch Comic Con Winter edition 2025 in November. Which would be my second Comic Con.

Might yet again be the only TWST cosplayer at the comic con over here. 😅 People in my country don't really seem to know Disney Twisted Wonderland, or it's simply not as popular, which is sad...

Hoping it won't slip off my arm and break though like my wand pen prop from Aliexpress did, I'd be utterly devastated.

I'm still torn between cosplaying him or Che'nya to be honest.

I also have a (bought) Ruggie Bucchi (dorm uniform) cosplay I could wear again but that's far too cold for the Winter haha and more suited for the Summer.

Ugh I can't wait to either cosplay Briar Valley General Lilia Vanrouge (+ my official baby dragon Malleus plush which I will use as a prop, I got a second one especially for my cosplay to walk around with and to reenact that one scene from the mobile game) or Che'nya this coming November.

Also looking forward to March next year during which I will cosplay an ENTIRE weekend for the first time. By then I will be cosplaying for the third time.

I have yet to cosplay Vaati though... But any cosplays of him that can be bought make me cringe incredibly hard and I can't sew =/

For those who missed it (also really haven't told anyone yet) I uhh... I cosplay now. I'm a first time cosplayer and can't style wigs yet, fun.

I'm going to the ren faire in cosplay as an orc for my birthday! Any tips on how to put together an outfit for the costume, how to do decent sfx makeup without prosthetics (or really how to use latex in general 😅), or just advice on what to do at the ren faire in general are all appreciated!

Tomorrow I plan to go to spirit halloween, goodwill, and target (target is for setting powder mainly), but I need a gameplan first.

Im almost done my cosplayyyyyyy!!!!!! im so excited!!!!! im going as Noelle from deltarune and I already got the dress the wig the antlers and the false white eyelashes(I might not even use them lol) and im almost done sewing the cloak with the help of my mom because I suck at sewing and our sewing machine is broken

I went to my local comic convention and entered the cosplay contest and won!! It was my first time and I made 98% of my costume. I was asked to take photos with people and it was such a wonderful and positive experience!

My first cosplay test! I'm going to be at Magfest in January and I'm cosplaying as Makise Kurisu from Steinsgate; my boyfriend is going to be Okabe Rintaro. I finally got all the parts today and wanted to see what it looks like.

Things missing:

- the wig. I have it but I need to practice putting it in a cap because I've never worn a wig.

- the shoes. I have them though lol

- I need to practicing tying a tie. I watched a 2 minute long vid and that was what I got lol

- I'll be wearing tights and not the leggings I'm wearing in this photo.

- her jacket and shirt have green lining on them and idk if I'll do that but I bet I can just buy ribbin and hand sew it on there

- her jacket also has little black belts on the upper part, if any cosplay people can tell me how I could do that that'd be awesome
