Genuinely proud of this, especially as my first ever cosplay. I was RUSHING to finish by Halloween, but it all worked out.

I genuinely feel so cool wearing the jacket tho. Gauntlet needs a little help, but for my first try I feel pretty good about it. I didn't have anything for the gem so the best I could do was red felt, but oh well. It could also use a little more super glue to keep it from wrinkling but I ran out.

Over all I feel pretty good about going from a white jacket to this. Some progress pics below!

Making a Franco cosplay :0

Hi I'm making a Franco cosplay and here's what I've got so far.

I'm modifying the outfit slightly to appear more like a Zoot suit, worn by El Pachucos in the late 40s. So, ballooned trousers, flared shoulders, and a general oversized look, similar to what Franco wears. I'm also going to make a more feminine look for my cosplay, cuz I like being feminine 🤷‍♀️

Here's the concept (plus Franco outfit and Zoot suit reference):

Staring off with the trousers - I don't have a pattern for Zoot suit style trousers so I'll have to work with making wide trousers and making them thinner at the bottom later.

Progress pics. Learnt how to sew fly shields for this 🫡

How they look so far!! Really happy since these are the first trousers I've ever sewed, and also got it done so fast! Not finished yet - just need to add buttons to the belt thing and to fix up the bottoms of the legs. Also have to, uh, literally make the rest of the outfit.

It's become tradition to introduce myself with my Stray Clementine cosplay as my first real post, so here we are!

After I first played stray two years ago, Clem became the first and only character I've ever had the desire to cosplay. Granted I did not have the time to make any actual robot parts, so let's just say she's humanized.

I didn't hand make much of the outfit except for the scarf, BUT I did sculpt little B-12 myself and modified a cat harness to match the game one. And painted all the buttons, of course!

The great thing is my cat happens to be orange, so she really completed my cosplay!!.... Unfortunately, I had to make the harness stuffed animal sized to be usable at my local con, so it's a liiiittle tight on her. Sorry girl!

I love this cosplay, so I hope any new stray faces I haven't met before enjoy it too!

Made my first ever cosplay to attend my second ever con tomorrow! I've somehow managed to scrounge around and get together all the pieces for my Security Team Kim Soleum and I'm so excited. Is it the best cosplay ever? Nope! It kinda sucks but I don't care. 6 months of effort at thrift stores, learning embrodery, dyeing and repairing a stupidly large coat have paid off! I even needle felted a Braun plush~ I doubt anyone will recognize me but it will still be fun regardless as Soleum is one of my favorite tortured protags. Also huge shout out to my dead grandpa who had an actual gas mask (that I was careful to clean and make safe dw), and big shout out to my buddy who's going with me to ensure I dont die of heatstroke, run into everything & everyone, and to physically stap me into the mask, horns, and hood combo bc I didn't know what I was doing and made something I can't get on without help :)) If I get some good pics I'll add em
