She has grown too familiar.
And perhaps it is best for Arris, in some small way. She feels sanity, or something like
it, in those moments where she has become too bold with the General. The times that
are scheduled into her life so meticulously that sometimes she forgets that it isn't quite
business, anymore. It's --
Well, it's nice, but it's also a weakness to be exploited.
( and, of course, she is sure that Hux would be the first to seize
that weakness and tear her to shreds, if he saw the merit of it )
He never reciprocates, but Arris doesn’t mind.
Today she interrupts his reports. Bold enough to take the datapad straight from his
hands and replace it with one of her own. He had demanded it, after all. And the hour
had long since passed. "I have heard some troubling news about Coruscant."
For one tense moment, Arris is content to let him think that something is wrong.
Of course, nothing is. She would not be quite so flippant, then.
"He actually expects me to return to the city. To Underworld, no less. I can't stand
that filthy hole." Whoever 'he' is, Arris doesn't elaborate. Likely, she means the only
other agent in their little circle who still holds any command over her.
( after she saw to the other one )
"Intel is stretched thin, at the moment. Another day spent trying to dig up scraps of
rebel activity is time wasted." ( So naturally... ) "Tell him that he has to go instead."
