    “ just shut up and push the cart. “ sure, he could’ve done the whole shopping thing himself but, he figured that it would’ve just been safer if he brought someone along so he wasn’t talking to himself the entire time. not that he did that often but, when he got excited about something — like really excited, he talked aloud about it, and it sort of frightened people when they listened in. and with it being black friday of all days, he really didn’t feel like being dubbed the mad man on aisle three again. so, he had no choice but to bring her. 

    kai continued grabbing random things that he didn’t need off the shelves, throwing it all in and they trudged along. what he really wanted was a new set of knives; for culinary and hunting purposes. but, that didn’t mean that he wasn’t going to get other things as well when everything was decently priced. “ if you want something just throw it in, i have the hook up. “ he offered, wagging his brows as he turned to look at her before carrying on about his shopping spree. 

    how was he going to get away with getting all of this for free? he had his ways but, he wasn’t going to tell her about them just yet. she didn’t deserve to know, but he was certain that would all change soon enough. “ now, should i get the gold plated or the silver? “ he questioned, grabbing the two box sets full of different sized knives, holding them up so she could see. “ or they have plain black and another one that looks oddly familiar… hm, what do you think? “

DAY 04: favorite portrayals of an original character

I’m actually super blessed to be able to write with so many brilliant people and their beautiful original creations. I definitely admire you all so much for your creativity and talents, for how much care and craft you put into your own character. Knowing that OC’s are totally the unsung heroes of any fandom, it’s amazing what you guys do, and I’m honestly so lucky to get to write with all of you. ​

AJAX JONES @firstjones​ -- I never imagined giving Jug an older sister, or a niece, and then I met Lea’s Ajax and it all just fit perfectly. I think it is especially exciting to see relative OC’s and Lea does an incredible job with Ajax. Lea’s writing is always so lovely to read, and I love her ideas and blending of original material and canon so much. I’m always so impressed by everything Lea does!

HARA ORA @interstellalips -- I’ve been a big fan of Mel’s writing all along, no shocker there, and while I admittedly haven’t gotten the chance to write enough with Mel’s OC, it’s obvious to me that Hara is a gorgeous creation and worthy of a lot of admiration. Mel’s dedication to her and her development is a tell of how creative and talented she is, and I can’t wait to do more with her!

SQUAD THAT I LOVE FOREVER, POPPY DARLING, ADELIA TURNER, NAOMI VASQUEZ @deadlycheer , @gofngs , @pomgob -- Lauren, Zoey, and Mia are three of the most talented people on the face of the Earth and wowee I’m so lucky to get to write with them ( any of their characters !! ) but now extra lucky to have three beautiful, unique, and inspired characters to interact with. You guys are all so equally impressive to me, your beautiful writing and wealth of creativity never ceases to amaze and inspire.

EMILY MAY @smiledhope / @troubledharts -- Emily is the cutest, second maybe to K, who I am blessed to write with tbh. I won’t belabour this, becaue I think she knows how much I am amazed by all her creations, but Emily is definitely one of the ones that never fails to impress me.

HANNAH MICHAELS @undeciided Jo already knows how much I adore her and admire her, and I simply adore Tink and can’t wait to get to do more with her. I’ve been really lucky to have Jo as a writing partner for this long, and I will write with her for as long as she’ll have me!
