My first quilt! This was made as wedding present for friends. It’s not perfect and I had quite a bit of help, some of it not as helpful as a cat thinks it is, but I’m really proud of what I accomplished. And my friends loved it.

I may be obsessed with Jelly roll race quilt tops. This one us actually going to be a quilt though. A quilt in the making! I had so much fun picking out the fabrics, though it wasn’t easy! Want to scream since I cut all the strips too short. I am going for a 9 block pattern my mother made 20 or so years ago. She is 88 and working on another! I think I need to cut the strips again and will have plenty of extra fabric for a creative and wonky back.

As if I didn’t have enough projects I decided to start a quilt. I blame @jeannie_bean_ and @rymaria for this. I’m English Paper Piecing with scraps and it will probably take me 20 years to complete since it’s hand stitching.
