I'm trying to really be a bigger person and not let this affect me, especially since his ex fucked with his mind for 15 of the 17 years they were married.
But it's Valentine's Day. You don't bring the ex into Valentine's Day. You don't let what the ex did to you alter your mood enough to fuck up Valentine's Day with your new S.O. Any other day of the week? Sure, go ahead. I understand.
But not on Valentine's Day.
So Im'ma be mad. Im'ma tell him tomorrow I was really looking forward to my Valentine's Day tradition of Casablanca and green tea ice cream with him, but since he HATES Valentine's Day because the ex ruined it for him, he ruined it for me, too.
