Me: I sold so many plants, I should save up for a new tank light.
Also me whenever I see a rhizome plant I don't own yet:
Must. BUY. Plonts.
Ugh I just wanna work on my fish tank!
I hate having to wait for other people.
Help!
Okay, so today I did a water change and cleaned up my decorations a bit since they needed it and my tank was fine. about an hour later my Tetra Whisper filter started pushing the water out the top of my tank and dripping onto the floor at a fast rate. My tank lost an inch of water before I discovered this problem and turned it off.
The filter doesn’t need to be changed as I did so only a week ago. I did try taking it out and putting it back in, still does it.
Roughly 25 gallons of water flooded our basement.
Wahoo
*naps into eternity* *has dream about cleaning fish tanks*
Awwww my dad got me all excited... He told me he found a small fish tank- I thought he meant maybe a three- five gallon... Nope probably no more than a gallon and a half :( why did all of our extra tens have to break?!?
my fish tank sucks
my tank has been having issues basically since I set it up. it's been extremely cloudy and has a terrible smell to it. I had the water tested and the only thing that was high were the nitrates which is easily fixed by aquarium salt. I did almost a 45% water change, plus scrubbed down the big ornaments and cleaned the filter mechanism. then it was gravel vacuumed to pick up all the uneaten food and mold that was growing. then my dad cleaned most of the glass with a razor blade and then finally new water went back in with the conditioner, bacteria and some clarifier, and of course, aquarium salt. it still looks and smells horrific and we'll most likely have to do this all again in a few days but hopefully it'll clear the water. the problem I'm having now is that since the tank is in my room, I'm getting sick from the particles that were released while cleaning. I'm now in the guest bedroom and ''should'' sleep halfway decent tonight. hopefully I can return to my room and my fan tomorrow.
