So I noticed Dreamy is now floating at the top of his tank on his side. After some reading its pretty clear something is up with his swim bladder. They say the most common cause is overfeeding which causes bloating which can cause the swim bladder to malfunction.. and apparently this can be exacerbated by poor water temperature. He was in a pretty much freezing cup all of one night. It didn’t feel so cold in the house but the water definitely felt freezing. Then today I gave him 2 blood worms.. now hes turned on his side at the top of the tank and I dont know what to do. They say you should fast them and wait to see improvement, possibly feed them a small portion of a green pea.. I hope its just the constipation thing.. if something about the tank went wrong I’m going to be so upset. I dont know where I could have gone wrong setting it up. I did everything I was supposed to, I thought. I do know he was chronically overfed at my sister’s office because all of her coworkers would feed it.. im confused about why it JUST started. He was swimming just fine earlier today.. Advice anyone?
