Super stoked that I just finished my Fishbomb murals at the @seaside_grill_li behind the @longislandaquarium in Riverhead, New York! But also, super stoked that it doubled as an awesome NFT project I am collaborating with 2 talented Brooklyn musicians! Brian @brian_forbes_ (who’s a Grammy award winner) developed “NexVox”, a software that interprets brainwaves into sounds. So as my brain created some “music”, we had Russian prodigy Masha @ambemusic play a beautiful violin duet with it! The fishbombs I just painted will soon be animated and go along this music! Then the Nft we create will be launched along @superchiefgallerynft ! And we also plan to donate some of the proceeds to help children with cancer, though Mashas non-profit @gciplanet ! So these days I’m preparing a new canvas painting. For me, first is the drawing process, so I can get everything exactly where I want it, and then feel out the colours later. This might take me a few months to complete, probably next year. It’s done in the style of the “fishbomb” spray paint pieces I drop around the world, but I believe the subject matter will be “artificial intelligence”. Happy to be home working on something for myself and avoiding all the drama out there in the world. Varanasi is not only a gorgeous and super interesting city, but it is also full cool spots that street artists can add their styles to! So this afternoon I spray painted one of my Fishbombs (invented “fish” I do all over the world), on the wall of “Chet Sigh Fort”. This is an abandoned castle built 400 years ago by the king of those times. Locals gathered around to see me quirky blast this and where extra stoked I made it a Shiva piece. Just arrived to Boca Leon beach, in the south of Lima, where I’m gonna spend these Xmas days with my parents, staying at the nice home my uncle lent us (and which I spray painted this #fishbomb a couple of years ago). Good to get away from the madness of the city and enjoy some peace n nature, and rest a bit after a long year of hard work. I only get to hang with my parents for 1 week this year so I am savouring every moment! It is interesting to hang out with the adults that where your biggest teachers for the 17 first years of your life. I see so much of my own personality in both my dad and mom, so it helps me recognize what aspects I am grateful they passed on to me, but also what aspects need to be deleted.
