What would you do if you woke up and everyone in your town had a random object for a head? Well, you'd freak out, probably. And that's just what the town of Spumville do, all except Steve, who has a giant dead fish for a head. He wants to know what caused all this, and suspects it may have something to do with the ALIEMS who crash-landed overnight. One way or another he's going to find out, and at least TRY to get back to a normal life (fat chance).
I'm thrilled to say the Fish-Head Steve book, collecting all the comic strips I created for The DFC, is out TODAY and you can BUY IT, like HERE for example. That would be so super cool if you did. I loved drawing Fish-Head Steve, a lot of the characters I create tend to just be striving for a peaceful life while everyone around them goes nutso. Steve is probably one of the best examples of this, my barely-concealed psyche trying to express itself. Fish-Head Steve is just ONE of the amazing paperbacks in The DFC library, collecting some of the greatest comics in the known universe and slapping them together into easily digestible chunks. Do go check them out, just type DFC LIbrary into wherever you normally buy your books (LIKE A BOOKSHOP. TYPE IT INTO THE WINDOW OF A BOOKSHOP). What The DFC was trying to do is bring more children's comics to the masses, and creating these books is a wonderful way of infiltrating book stores again. Well worth supporting!
