its just a Russian dnd session with stills of the player characters occasionally, one of which is a merman, and there's some exposition dumping mermaid, holdon

had to run that character sheet through a translating app, but I think he's a fighter based on his stats

The last market information from our Tokyo Revealed, Part 3 in the 2019 Spring/Summer issue vol.43— Taiyou no Marche in Kachidoki held the Night Marche, an event for adults that offers food and drinks in the evening, in last July and December. One of the food trucks which attracted a crowd was Nagasaki Agodashi Oden (hot pot dish). Dashi or Japanese stock, made from flying fish stock, and fish cakes of Nagasaki were a great match. As someone who has played tailed merfolk before (I needed to test out my homebrew), they're fine if you're sneaky and doing ranged combat, or just ranged combat period, I did have a mounted mermaid barbarian with a spear who was riding a horse sized amphibious beast though, and she was insanely fun, and was even pretty useful when separated from her mount and fighting people on the floor.

If I were to post homebrews, where should I put them?

see, the Russians get it, Merfolk are a perfectly valid player race, now add them to every fantasy setting's Core races

Hmm, these are aesthetically very nice, not a fan of merfolk slithering about though, it makes them feel too close to Nagas. Personally I prefer designing Merfolk species to be very OP in the water, and having their mobility on land be their only real drawback, but it's a huge drawback that balances out all their great features

DO NOT pick another base pose for her or she'll stand up, but her torso, head, neck, arms, etc are free game to mess around with, so go ahead and feel free to use this as a base for other crawling merfolk characters
