running her fingers through her long dark locks, her eyes searched for the fake fbi badge in the glove box of the old honda civic she was driving. pulling it out, krissy’s mouth twitched and she let out a hum as she looked over the badge for a moment before she climbed out of the car. her gaze fell on the building she had parked in front of; a hospital. the monster she was hunting had taken three lives already and she was hoping to take a look at the bodies to figure out what she was dealing with. straightening out her pantsuit with her hands, the brunette headed for the entrance and made her way into the building. after asking for directions, she ended up in the basement in the hospital mortuary. to her surprise, she wasn’t the only one loitering around the huge hallway wearing a suit. there was another tall figure and she muttered a curse word under her breath as she approached the person, assuming that she was dealing with the authorities at first. run in’s like these happened and while she was generally a good actress, she looked far too young to be an agent and deep down she always got that little nervous feeling in the pit of her stomach hoping she wouldn’t get caught. pulling the badge out of the pocket of her coat, krissy cleared her throat as she stopped a few meters before the other person, but her demeanor changed completely the second the male turned around and she recognized his face. forgotten memories of steamy kisses filled her mind; before her stood no other than the fellow hunter she had hooked up with at her ex boyfriend’s funeral. she wasn’t proud of that night, and as much as she would like to blame the alcohol for sleeping with a complete stranger, she knew aidan’s death had hit her harder than she would like to admit. krissy didn’t remember much from that day, except for the couple of drinks she had before the funeral and during, the conversation they had before one thing led to another, his hands all over her body and the fact that he was an incredible kisser and honestly, she’d wanted it to stay just that, a memory. but of course he had to be the one working the same case, that was just her luck. “ oh you’ve got to be kidding me... “ she mumbled quietly and clicked her tongue before she shook her head and showed him the badge; she could at least play her part and do her job. ------------- @hallowqueenwrites
