Food Friday - Apr 25th, 2020 Grandma’s Zesty Pretzels Prep Time: 1hr 15mins
Looking for a little snack that’s perfect for lounging around for a full on Netflix Binge?
Upgrade Generic Pretzels into an Addictive Munchie.
GRANDMA’S ZESTY PRETZELS
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Bags of Pretzels (I prefer to use Spindles)
- 1 Dry Packet of Hidden Valley Ranch
- 1 Teaspoon of Lemon Pepper
- 8oz of Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn Oil
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat Oven to 200 degrees.
- In a Large Bowl (like Large enough to hold 2 Bags of Pretzels) add your 2 Bags of Pretzels.
- Gradually add Ranch & Lemon Pepper Seasoning as you mix your Pretzels around. Until each Pretzel looks Blessed with Zest.
- Once your Pretzels are dry coated begin to drizzle on your Popcorn Oil - Continue to mix your Pretzels around for an even coating.
- Lay your Pretzels out flat (as possible) onto a baking sheet. If you have excess popcorn oil and zest pooled at your mixing bowl feel free to drizzle over your baking sheet.
- Now for the longest leg of the process. These will be in the oven for an Hour but every 15mins we will want to shake up/stir the pretzels.
- After the hour baking process is complete they should be dry as a bone.
GRAB THEM BY THE FISTFUL
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- There is a lot of ways to Jazz these up - Peanuts, Almonds....
- Make sure you have plenty of beverages handy... Because, Man the Pretzels can make you Thirsty.
Prompt #83
If you hold yourself back long enough, then eventually you're going to explode in a fistful of flame.
