It must be hard to grow up in a clan as a kind of dark mark knowing your only hope for marriage is someone else from the clan not only from Kyo's perspective where he's got Kagura bullying him into things to the point of physical violence, but also from Kagura's perspective where she must have felt like she had to sake a claim, guard, and foster it, but nobody in this clan knows how to have healthy relationship so you get all this nonsense. Well, and the whole mental illness attached to relationship status thing in this story too adds to this as well in its own way I think

You'll have a pleasant surprise with the manga. Not only the art is much better, there's more character development going on.

I don't know why but in my head even though time progressed on this show the same as it did in the real world, the characters ages just stayed the same to me so I kind of forgot they're ten years older than me

When in doubt, Amitabh Bachchan in the 70's or 80's. Tonight I'm going to watch Coolie (1983) because it keeps coming up in stuff I've been reading because he about died filming it.

It's interesting watching "Eve" after watching Orphan Black

Not really sure what's going on anymore. Like I mean I know in general because this isn't that different from other found footage asylum movies. It's not a language thing either, but a recurring flaw in these movies. They turn the camera off, they turn it on. Things get blurry, etc..etc...to save money. However, I always kind of lose a sense of detail and that loses the drama and suspense for me. How can I be scared for them when it's not very clear what's going on?

There's got to be a way to create more of a sense of what's going on without spending too much money. But, then you always have to take into account that a lot of the modern audience won't put up with old time effects, which is really a shame because this movie could use some old time effects to spice it up.
