My brother and I were talking about episode 34 of Vento Aureo and how the body swap during Punk Hazard in One Piece would have been ten times more fun if the bodies kept the voice actors. We were robbed of that nonsense
It must be hard to grow up in a clan as a kind of dark mark knowing your only hope for marriage is someone else from the clan not only from Kyo's perspective where he's got Kagura bullying him into things to the point of physical violence, but also from Kagura's perspective where she must have felt like she had to sake a claim, guard, and foster it, but nobody in this clan knows how to have healthy relationship so you get all this nonsense. Well, and the whole mental illness attached to relationship status thing in this story too adds to this as well in its own way I think
I couldn't get into Pixar movies when they first started and now I look at the newer ones and some I think I might like but at the same time all those years of boredom or creepiness kind of poke at me and I just kind of scroll along
I'm going to have to rewach 0079 aren't I? I saw it in high school and I remmber enough to get by while watching Advent of the Red Comet, but I feel like a refresher is in order
Everyone's talking about how that was Palpatine laughing at the end of the teaser, but when I heard that laughter all I could think of was Mark Hamill so I'm not sure what I think of the evil laugh yet. My brain just kind of went from Star Wars Star Wars Star Wars to "Jiggle bells Batman smells Robin laid an egg..." so I've got nothing
So I've been thinking about the Harry can't duel post and it made me wonder like is i really that Harry can't duel or does he choose to use Expelliarmus repeatedly during battle because of what happened the time he used an actual attack spell against Malfoy he ended up regreting it?
Sometimes I think about how reliable a narrator Minato might be. I always kind of figure eventually Minato is going to make this grand romantic gesture to Masa and find out this whole time Masa's thought of him as just a student who needs a little extra guidance because it's rough to lose a parent. Or like Masa might be just quiet, unassuming, and just hasn't divulged he keeps up with people his own age via other means than face to face where students can see, so maybe he has more friends than we think he does. Maybe Masa’s just awkward and introverted when not being perceived as a kyuudou god so it’s easy to imagine Masa hardly interacts with people his own age even if maybe he does.
Minato's description of the students his own age might be more accurate since he interacts with them throughout the day more and can't really get away from Seiya since Seiya lives next door and his dad is Minato's doctor.
It's really kind of a shame that KyoAni got the adaptation rights because it'd be interesting to see an adaptation explore the fact that what Minato tells us might not be completely accurate in all aspect especially with those he spends less time with or is less close to equals to.
