You Are What You Eat
You’ve all heard it. You are what you eat. What you eat today will show up later. The biggest complaint I hear from people is how they can’t lose fat or how they can’t get their abs to show (I’m including myself in that group of complainers). Then I hear “I need to do more ab exercises” “maybe I’ll start doing 2 a days” (again I’ve said all these things too at one point). What I have learned in this so 2 month process so far (yes only 2 months) is what the hubby’s been telling me since he started his journey, “Abs are made in the kitchen.” He couldn’t be more right. The second I stuck to a very dedicated eating schedule of higher protein, complex carbs, good fats, and veggies I noticed a difference within 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS! It works. Then I changed it up with the new coach and started incorporating fruit in and my favorite, CHEAT MEALS. My summer goal is to have my abs partially showing by summer. I think I can do it. I got lucky in the genetics department because my stomach and upper body are the first things to lean out. So just keep this post in mind next time you want abs or want to shed some fat. Go find out what your macros should be (protein, carb, & fat) just Google “If it fits your macros”. There are a ton of calculators out there. This is so much better than calorie counting because this helps balance out the kind of food you’re eating. Bc hey, anyone could be on a 1600 calorie diet and eat it all in pizza and not eat the rest of the day. Have a good day everyone!
