Lucky me, this is a mutual ownership now. I think.
Well, shit. Now we own each other. Tell me your name.

Fear was what drew the brunette further into the park, one might consider it a careless behavior, but it wasn’t on her nature to simply walk away when her help might be needed. Each step she took cracked in echoes of dry leafs being shattered, through the winter should already been long gone almost covering the faint sound of a meow apparently too far from where she stood. Tilting her head back, her chocolate eyes gazed the small frame of a young kitten, probably a way too young to be able to climb that high.
Yoonji sighed heavily, delicate hand pressed against her chest as she wondered how she could help the poor darling down, a scared animal was almost as heartbreaking than a scared person, specially one so young. As the sound of steps echoed through the park, the empath shifted her body around to glance the path she had once traversed to glance the stranger. “Could you please help me out here? I can’t really reach the kitten and I’m sure he is a way too scared to get down on his own.”

I hadn’t particularly been paying attention to anyone around me, despite the influx of excitement bubbling out of one crowd, nagging at the corner of my attention unsuccessfully. This is my excuse for the way I jumped, startled, by the man suddenly talking to me. I hadn’t picked up on his awareness of me, and so he had not stood out to me, and at first, I didn’t particularly regard him as talking to me, but his voice had garnered my sudden attention and as I looked up towards him, I realised he was staring at me expectantly. He was taller than me, somewhat, and companioned with an abnormally low voice, I felt slightly intimidated but squared my shoulders loosely as not to show this, blinking at him with my pallidly colourless eyes staring straight through the screen of his glasses. I had scarcely opened my mouth to speak, when he spoke again, and I took to glancing around us, perplexed. The mask, the avoidance of people, the low voice - I pondered for a moment as these small details began to titter into place. "Am I talking to a fugitive?"
Relief washed over him, tilting his head up with a loud sigh escaping his lips. He didn't think twice about approaching a stranger, didn't even think of the consequences that this might result into and worst of all, did not think of what the stranger might have felt being approached by someone who looks rather suspicious as of the moment. Slowly gaining his breath, he turned to the seemingly clueless man beside him, dipping his head forward to show his gratitude for helping him out of the blue. The bright smile on his face immediately turned into a distress one when the other had mistook him as a fugitive, he quickly waved both his hands in front, vigorously shaking his head at the question. "Ah, no, no! I'm not a fugitive. Definitely not. I'm really sorry for suddenly disturbing you. Just that-" He paused for a moment, looking around to check if the girls who had been following him figured out that he tricked them, "Those girls.. were following me all day and I didn't know how to lose them. Some fans can be such a pain in the neck."

Don’t panic.
She kept on repeating that inside her mind since she left the emergency room in a hurry that was quite uncommon for the always so patient and serene doctor like herself, it seemed like the oxygen was too heavy for her to breathe no matter how many times she tried, her eyes that didn’t quite shined lively in normal bases now looked as lifeless as the ones she kept on seeing every time she blinked. Jihyun didn’t know where her legs were leading her to, but she wished it was further away from the hospital and the patient that had just been deceased in her hands.
People used to say that the death of a child was the worst of the tragedies and when a doctor like her that should be the one to save him couldn’t, to who they could turn to? She had asked a nurse to tell the parents the bad news because she couldn’t bring herself to speak, the red-haired had to get out of that place as soon as the anxiety started to build up inside of herself, Qri couldn’t have her co-workers to see her like that, it was a slide that could coast her license.
Doctors couldn’t perform miracles and she knew that too well, but looking at the eyes of the little one and feeling hopeless to do anything to save the poor child triggered her mind back to a dark forest when similar orbs looked at her in order to find the same aid, the same empathy that her patients looked for in that very one moment and she couldn’t deal with it.
“Stop panicking.” Jihyun whispered to herself as the voices of the dead that had been haunting her sleep for years echoed loudly inside her head, the same harsh and accusing tones of those that had lost their lives in her hands – in one way or another – and the cries of her own conscience that couldn’t compartmentalize it anymore.
She opened her eyes to find herself surrounded by trees and a shiver ran through her body as the accusing voices inside of her head seemed to get louder and louder until they weren’t only in her head anymore, the darkness took over her orbs and the doctor covered them in between her hands as soon as steps could be heard coming closer to her. Chains being dragged against the grass echoed through the park, giving a whole new meaning to a haunted wood.
“Don’t come any closer!” The doctor yelled to whoever tried to reach out for her, whoever classified a poltergeist as the results of a disturbed mind trying to shelter itself might not be so wrong after all.

Lunch was going well. Inna had met up with her parents in town, and they decided to go to a small cafe for food and coffee. It was uneventful, really, until they ordered cheesecake for dessert. No, it wasn't the cheesecake that was causing problems, it was how the conversation had shifted.
"Inna, we have a really nice guy we want you to meet. He's the son of one of your father's business partners." Business partner. Her father's business partner.
"No, I'm not interested right now." Inna started up, taking a bite from her cheesecake before glancing out the window.
"Inna. You're a single mother! Do you know how bad that looks? Just go on a date with him. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work." Her mother insisted, and that was when Inna slammed her hands down. Not only did the sudden action startle her parents, but it startled a few others in the cafe as well. Inna suddenly stood up and grabbed her purse, storming out of the cafe and starting to walk down the sidewalk.
"A fucking business partner...Yes, I know how I fucking look, mother. You remind me every fucking chance you get." She started mumbling to herself as she pulled the pack of cigarettes from her purse, pulling one of the pink smokes from the pack and placing it between her teeth. Lighting it with an also pink lighter, she stuffed both back in her purse before slinging it over her shoulder.
She felt the tears stinging her eyes as she took a long drag from the cigarette, unable to stop the train of thoughts that was completely intent on going through her mind. "Yes. I know I look bad. I know it looks bad on you. I know, you look like you raised a deviant daughter. It looks as if I have no morals. I look careless and stupid. I look like a whore, or a slut. I know that's probably why it's fitting his father is one."
A block later, Inna threw the half-smoked cigarette to the ground and stepped it out before she continued walking, a few tears managing to find their way down her cheeks now as she crossed her arms across her chest.
Her mind was zoned out now, focusing on the thoughts crossing her mind now than her surroundings. That was why she didn't notice the male who she accidentally smacked when she suddenly threw her arms down to her sides. She kept walking afterwards, not noticing in the least.
