SHERLOCK: Depends on the book. That’s the cunning of the book code.
Decoding the secret message works only with pairs. Only if one puts the correct partners together (and uses the right book) the solution reveals itself. Couples are code.

The Great Game: The Prince’s case
It has been a while since I played around with the third case from TGG … the case of Connie and Kenny Prince, Raoul de Santos and Sekhmet the cat (X). Lately this case has sparked my interest again though and I did some research on Sekhmet, the lioness goddess from Ancient Egypt, which led to very interesting results (here). While rewatching the scenes from TGG and taking pics I noticed something quite interesting.
It’s this painting above the mantlepiece in the living room. Two little white dogs can be seen on it. @sagestreet discovered them and wrote about them in the Follow the dog meta series (here). Guessing the breed I would say they are Maltese dogs. Also called ‘Roman Ladies’ Dog’ , ‘Maltese Lion Dog’ or ‘Melita’ (X)
My focus in this post though, is not so much on the dogs or the breed, it’s the painting as a whole which I find highly interesting. Because it's full of couples. Five couples. Four of them male/female, if I'm not mistaken. The fifth pair are two women and between them the two little dogs are placed. Interpreting the dogs as a metaphor for sex, I guess those two women are also a couple. :)
FELINES AND CANINES - they come in pairs as well
As mentioned in the post about Sekhmet some days ago, the two animal families - felines and canines - are both represented by different species of their respective familiy.
one species is quite harmless and ordinary (cats & dogs)
the other species is either powerful and dangerous or even unnatural and terrifying (lion & hound)

Additionally, in each case a pair of felines and a pair of canines, appear just for a moment in one single shot. Both artificial, both in a shop and both sitting behind a glass window. (Revelation and inspiration: X)
A very special scene … pairs wherever one looks
As mentioned above, the painting in the Prince’s living room displays solely couples.
All the humans on it come in pairs … five in total
Two very similar looking dogs are in it. One on the sofa, the other one on the floor.
If one takes the whole scene into account, there are also two cats present. A picture of Sekhmet stands on the mantlepiece, while Sekhmet the real cat is on the floor. All three men are looking down at her in this shot.
Finally, the human actors and their respective mirrors are pairs as well: Kenny/Sherlock and Sekhmet/John.
All in all …. there are five human couples, two dogs, two cats and two pairs of character & mirror. And all of them captured in one single screenshot. A very special moment indeed.

Soo i can see Jarley having sex because Marley will feel pressured to and feel like she has to do this to keep Jake (Kitty will probably make her feel insecure)

Quinntana: i mean i can see it happening because of Quinn wanting to try new things and maybe they get into a fight and BAM! sexual tension they kiss and yeah.
Betty/Artie: please glee like are you really going to have them bang when they just met? i don't think so.
Klaine:...OMG I WOULD PROBABLY DIE FROM SQUEALING IF THEY HAVE SEX!!!!... but we're already getting a makeout and a duet soo i don't wanna get too hopeful.
