arguably one of the best siblings in the cast, in my humble opinion!
all of your bad days would turn into a good day with just one joke from this guy, i'm pretty sure
even when you're going through a rough patch in life, wataru is one of those brothers who help you get through it. sure, he might drag you out of your room once in a while to distract you from the sadder things in life, but he's more keen on helping you grow
that doesn't mean he's going to force you out of your comfort zone, though!
wataru has a sixth sense for when you even feel a single hair on the back of your neck rises. which is to say, he isn't fond of people making you uncomfortable or putting you in danger.
even if they were one of his friends, wataru doesn't stand for his sibling getting caught in any kind of crossfire
people can dislike him all they want, but they're not allowed to drag you into it
one of the rare few times anyone sees him actually serious and straightforward is when you come to him with an issue you don't know how to solve, whether it's bullies, final exams, or a nasty stalker you can't lose.
he's a jester, but he's not an idiot to take his own sibling's wellbeing as a joke
on a lighter note, he totally teaches you some of his wild tricks like walking on air/water, having sentient hair, and a whole other bucket of tricks and pranks you can pull on your friends!
if you go to yumenosaki to follow his footsteps, wataru is more than happy to use his privileges as an alumni to teach you the ropes!
if you do go to yumenosaki or any other idol academies, the two of you become a common sight in ES doing who-knows-what
in regards to how his unit mates and friends see you, let's start with fine members!
tori and yuzuru see you as a calmer version of wataru, albeit a little shy and awkward around the edges, but it's a welcome change from the boisterous and spontaneous chaos your brother carries with him wherever he goes
eichi doesn't waste a single breath on getting on your good side... because he's that down bad
he tries to portray himself as a reliable older brother figure for you, not knowing that you already knew a lot about him, tori, and yuzuru because wataru tells you just about anything
you're no stranger to the adoration wataru has for eichi, and likewise for eichi! after seeing the two of them interact, you might as well be the president the wataei fan club
the other four eccentrics also view you as a mellowed down version of wataru, but their views are all pretty good.
rei thinks you're an adorable bean and thinks that you resemble wataru a lot even if the two of you aren't biological siblings
shu also thinks you're cute but fights every bit of himself to not show it because this is shu we're talking about. he does, however, teach you french and often come bearing a gift for you too whenever he comes back to japan for a while
kanata views you as a little sibling he never had and is very touchy-feely with you, greeting you with hugs and head pats whenever you do something good. he is a firm believer that you can do no wrong in life
natsume is thrilled to have another sibling, whether you're older or younger than him! he's so happy that there's someone else who admires wataru as much as he does, and just about begs you to teach him things wataru didn't teach him lol
as for wataru's club mates in dramatica, i'll touch up mostly on hokuto, tomoya, and leo!
generally, everyone in dramatica is open to having you in the club as well, especially if you're a student in the three idol academies.
hokuto was a little surprised that you weren't as wild as wataru, but still viewed you as some kind of genius for being able to keep up with wataru's energy and wild ideas
tomoya... was scared of you. and for good reason...! i think everyone knows the wild shit wataru put our poor boy through in the early days, with the incident at SS being probably the top three wildest things tomoya had gone through because of wataru
but!!! he's more than happy to see that you're not as spontaneously crazy like wataru, and you're a bit more reserved than your brother which he's perfectly fine with
i'd say leo just about adopts you the moment he sees you
and i say this because there's a high chance wataru's told him about you before whenever leo mentions ruka, so the two of them bonded a lot over older sibling things and how cute their baby siblings are
and since wataru is a close friend of his, leo figured it'd be no problem to treat you the way he treats ruka!
i genuinely don't think anyone would outright hate you, given that wataru is probably one hell of a handful if someone royally pisses him off, and also there's nothing to hate about you
you're talented, funny, albeit a tad shy, but i'd imagine that growing up with wataru, you might be used to him doing most of the talking

You don't understand, I need an Oddballs Halloween event. They're, like. Made for this. They are so oddly but specifically tailored for Halloween, as a group.
Rei and Kanata are riddled with monsterous and divine references. Wataru and Shuu are all about costumes and drama (albeit in different directions). Natsume is steeped at least in the imagery and aesthetics of witchcraft.
Also, Shuu's birthday is the day before Halloween, and Rei's birthday isn't even a week later.
And, yeah, okay. Individually, Wataru, Shuu and Natsume have been in Halloween events, and I guess any Undead/Rei-centric event can pass for a Halloween event, but that does still leave Kanata.
And also. It's not the same. I need them together. </3
Someone on discord pointed out the charm on natsume's new card has the eccentrics' colours (very loosely) and now I hc they all have matching charms but kanata lost it in a fountain and can't find it, shu denies its existence cuz he says it's childish but keeps it in a cabinet, rei keeps it in his coffin and wataru's changes places randomly throught the day
