For people revising stories, what are good tips/tricks to get the job done but also keep motivated/not hate your old writing? :3
Gosh I can't tell you how hard it is for me to look at my old work and not cringe :P But a good motivator I find is to revise a bit each day, interspersing that with your new work so you can be a bit condescending (against yourself :P) and pat yourself on the back and say "Wow, look how far I've come!" ;)
