bLLLLLLURB: You woke up to the sound of your phone vibrating violently on your nightstand, so you grumbled and rolled over to glance at the screen.
It was a long good morning text from your boyfriend Michael, wishing you a merry Christmas, and apologizing profusely for not being able to be with you, as he was travelling doing press for his band.
You grinned to yourself and sent him a quick reply, telling him you loved him before setting your phone back down. It didn’t even feel like Christmas without Michael running around in his holiday pajamas, impatiently waiting for you to open the gifts he got you. You missed him every single day, but you knew today was going to be especially hard.
You took your sweet time getting out of bed, throwing your hair up in a bun messily before wandering into your kitchen to make yourself a cup of coffee. You weren’t going to be celebrating Christmas until Michael came home, so your morning plans included laying on the couch and feeling bad for yourself.
You wandered out to your living room and stopped short when you saw dozens of messily wrapped gifts sprawled out across your carpet, with a beautiful boy sitting in the middle of them with a grin taking over his face.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS BABY! SURPRISE!" Michael shouted, dressed adorably in his Christmas pajamas, as he jumped up and ran over to hug you.
"You’re not supposed to be here!" You hugged him back tightly, happy tears pricking at the corners of your eyes.
"Did you really think I’d miss Christmas with you, baby? Now open your gifts, I need to see if you like them!" He bounced up and down in front of you, and your entire body seemed to be buzzing with happiness.
"Michael Clifford, you are the best boy in the world."

how you met: you went to see 5sos in concert and ended up being front row. they had only played a few songs before he saw you. the minute your eyes locked he completely forgot what he was supposed to be doing. he quickly recovered before continuing the set. he would constantly sneak glances at you to make sure you were watchin him. before the encore started a security gaurd approached you and said that he has back stage passes for you. after the show you went back stage and there was mikey and the boys waiting for you. Mikey approached you and apologized for messing up at the beginning he just got so distracted by you.
