Sleepy Kisses
Taemin muffles a laugh behind his hand when Jinki’s head starts jerking back and forth. The third year has his nose buried in a chemistry textbook, the lecture slides up on the laptop in front of him. Meanwhile, Taemin’s been trying to study for his philosophy midterm, but Jinki’s been too cute for Taemin to concentrate.
Taemin looks at his watch after a moment, and his eyes widen when he realizes the library closes in a few minutes.
"Jinki? Jinki, it almost one." Taemin whispers, not wanting to disturb the others who are studying near them, "Jinki?"
The younger stifles another laugh when he turns to see Jinki drooling over his notes. Jinki’s nose is twitching, and his lips are turning up into a little smile. He couldn’t have fallen asleep more than a minute ago, so Taemin doesn’t know why he isn’t jerking awake when he whispers to him.
"Jinki?" Taemin leans closer, and when the oldest doesn’t move, he smirks and leans even closer to steal a little kiss from Jinki’s lips.
"Hmm?" Jinki hums as his head shoots up, and Taemin laughs again, because of course Jinki would wake up right when he kisses him.

Best Vacation Ever
Jinki smiles softly at the younger man sitting next to him on the plane. He gently brushes back the black locks that fell in front of the other boy’s face, chuckling lightly to himself as he thinks the younger is in need of a haircut, but he’ll protest like a child that he likes it a bit on the longer side. Taemin makes a noise in his sleep, moving his head to rest on Jinki’s shoulder. The older wraps an arm around the younger’s shoulders, letting Taemin’s head fall into the crook of his neck. Jinki rests his cheek on top of Taemin’s head, moving slightly to look out the window. The colors of the sky blend together, pinks, blues, purples, and the yellows and oranges of the rising sun send rays of light to shine on the town they are quickly approaching. They should be landing soon, and Jinki feels bad that he has to wake Taemin so soon after the younger finally fell asleep.
As their plane prepares to land, Jinki gently shakes Taemin awake.
“Taeminnie, we’re landing now. You need to wake up, babe.” Taemin mumbles something unintelligible, sitting up and rubbing his neck.
“We there yet?” The younger mumbles sleepily.
“Yeah. You need to put on your seatbelt, Taem.” Jinki smiles, taking in Taemin’s ‘I just woke up’ face.
His eyes are barely open, looking through slits in order to get himself buckled up. His eyebrows are furrowed, and his nose is scrunched up. He can tell the younger is still tired, having spent most of their flight wide awake from nervousness and excitement. Taemin runs a hand over his face, letting out a sigh as they start to land.
“Jinki, give me a piece of gum.” Taemin whines, rubbing his ears.
Jinki’s sigh turns into a chuckle, because he thinks it’s adorable the way Taemin turns into a whiny little kid whenever they fly. The maknae really hates flying.
Two hours later, they’re finally at the cottage they rented for the week. It’s small, yet the coziness is welcoming, and Taemin immediately hurries for the bedroom, taking his shoes off as he walks so he can plop onto the bed face first.
After freshening up, Jinki walks quietly into the bedroom, smiling at the sight of Taemin sprawled out on the bed.
“Hey, I’m gonna go get some food for us, okay?” Jinki whispers, chuckling when Taemin groans in response, “I’ll be right back.”
Jinki walks to the small store they saw on their way there, happy that it wasn’t far at all from their small cottage. After picking out a few things he knew Taemin’s picky tastes would accept, he makes his way back to the cottage and starts cooking. Eventually, the smell of the food lures Taemin into the kitchen. His hair is a mess, his face has red crinkle marks from where it was pushed against the sheets of the bed, his clothes are disheveled, and Jinki loves every bit of Taemin’s half-awake state.
The next day, they walk around the little village, Taemin much more well rested and in a better mood. He holds onto Jinki’s arm the entire time, claiming he doesn’t want to get lost in a foreign country.
Taemin makes Jinki stop and look at every shop and booth in the village, giggling when he sees things he thinks the other members would like. He makes Jinki buy him a flaky pastry, teasing his hyung with it by pretending to let him take a bite, only to pull it back and nibble on it himself, a cute smirk on his face as he chews.
“Will you buy me a hot chocolate, hyung?” Taemin pleads, his eyes wide and sparkly as he smiles up at the older man, “Pretty please~”
“Okay, okay, just stop making googly eyes at me.” Jinki caves, buying the younger the largest hot chocolate available.
Taemin sips on it, getting whipped cream on his nose that Jinki wipes off with a laugh.
They spend most of their days sightseeing and shopping, and Taemin begs to go out to eat at least once a day, saying he wants to try the local cuisine. Jinki rolls his eyes each time when Taemin’s picky eating habits only let him finish half his plate before he’s asking Jinki to make them rice when they get back to the cottage because this food is weird and he wants kimchi but they don’t have any.
On the last night of their stay, the two sit on the roof of the small, somewhat secluded cottage. They watch northern lights for the fifth time, and the sight is still as amazing and breath taking as the first time they saw it. The green swirl of light illuminates the night sky, casting a soft glow on their faces. Jinki smirks lightly to himself, leaning over and pressing a kiss to Taemin’s cheek. The younger smiles, turning to kiss Jinki back. He giggles when Jinki’s hand makes its way underneath his shirt, running up his side.
“Let’s go inside, hyung. It’s cold out here.” Taemin smirks, leading the older back down to the cottage and into the bedroom.
Jinki’s pulling off Taemin’s clothes before they even get through the door, the jacket strewn across the living room, shirt somewhere near the bathroom, and pants being pulled down before they fall onto the bed.
They take a shower afterwards, and Taemin’s giggling and leaning against Jinki as the hot water pours over them, and Jinki holds Taemin close, their chests pressed against each other.
“What’s so funny?” Jinki asks.
“Nothing, hyung, nothing.” Taemin shakes his head, wrapping his arms around Jinki’s neck as he looks at the older man, “This has been the best vacation ever, Jinki.”
“I’m glad you think so.” Jinki smiles, and Taemin leans in to steal another kiss from the older.
Hi! ajsdheig ontae please?! J or T: "you´ve bewitched me.." ^3^ thank you
"You’ve bewitched me…Line?”
Jinki sighs and peers through his bangs down at the script. “The curse.”
Taemin straightens his shoulders and nods. “Yeah, thanks.” He clears his throat and leans across the kitchen table again, face slipping into a mask of seriousness, his voice hardening.
"You’ve bewitched me. The curse of our age lies in…" Taemin squints into the air over Jinki’s shoulder. He pauses for a moment, and then he shakes his head and slumps over on the table. “Line,” he deadpans.
Jinki pokes the hand flopping around on the table’s surface. “You didn’t practice the script.”
"Obviously." Taemin’s voice is muffled from hiding his head in his arms. He heaves an enormous sigh and the air pushes his hair out from his forehead. "I was busy."
"Busy doing what?" Jinki raises an eyebrow at the lump of teenaged boy on his table. He’s past the point of skeptical. He’s half inclined to think Taemin’s trying to get extra practice with him on purpose. It’s happening far too often.
"Hey," Taemin says, raising up to defend himself, pushing a hand through his flyaway hair. "I had stuff to do."
"Stuff." Right.
"Taemin." Jinki pokes his hand again, carefully noting the way Taemin brings the hand close to himself, how his thumb rubs over the knuckle he’d touched like he’s willing it to soak into his skin. "What kind of stuff?"
"That’s not important." Taemin waves his hands like it will magically make the conversation go away. He scoots his chair around the side of the table, the scraping sounds of the legs against the floor marking his approach until he’s finally sitting at Jinki’s side. He looks up with a smile, his eyes crinkling, his thighs much too close to Jinki’s under the table. "Line?"
Taemin’s hand snakes between them under the table’s cover. Jinki knows it’s coming before it happens, because Taemin’s got the same look on his face he always does when he tries it. It’s the same look he uses when he tries to sneak food off Kibum’s plate or lies to his mother about what he and Jinki will be doing all night.
Taemin bites his lip, tongue flicking out in concentration when he finally makes contact with the tight material over Jinki’s thigh and slides inward, slow and purposeful.
Jinki rolls his eyes. “You could have just asked to hang out if you wanted to fool around. You don’t have to trick me into it.”
"What?" Taemin looks away, his eyes shifty. "I don’t know what you’re—"
"I’m your boyfriend Taemin, not just the student director." He pushes his chair out from the table, reaching for the button of his jeans. "Minho won’t be back for an hour." He smiles at the look on Taemin’s face, half mistrust, half arousal. "You want my hands or my mouth this time?"
Taemin puffs air through his lips and ducks his head with a grin, finally giving in. “Both?”
Jinki shrugs and gets up from the table, tugging at Taemin’s arm. He watches the light shift and hit Taemin’s hair, the stretch of his broad shoulders as he pushes up from his seat. Jinki’s arm slings low over Taemin’s back as he leads him toward the hallway, and toward his bedroom at the end of it. His hand slips casually to stroke the skin below Taemin’s shirt.
Hi khdsakjdhsa can i request Ontae?! Taem is sort of taking care of onew or trying to cheer him up since he still cant talk. and onew replying him through mini whiteboard FLUFF FLUFF FLUFFFF ^3^
Recovery
Taemin opens the door to the leader’s room quietly, not sure if the oldest is still sleeping. It’s been a few days since his surgery, and they’ve been letting him sleep as much as possible. Taemin frowns at the sight of the tiny white board next to Jinki’s bed, and he desperately wants to hear the older boy’s voice, but he knows his hyung needs to rest his voice so he can make a quick recovery. Also because the doctor said he can’t talk for at least two weeks.
"Jinki hyung?" Taemin whispers as he puts the tray of food on the desk.
"Jinki hyung, I brought you your medicine and something to eat. It’s dinner time." Taemin tells the lump under the sheets.
The lump starts to move slowly, and Jinki’s head pokes out after a moment, his hair standing up in every direction. Jinki’s half lidded eyes land on the maknae, and he stares ahead in confusion. Taemin walks over to the bed and hands the three different medications to the older boy.
"Here’s your medicine, hyung, and you have to take it, doctor’s orders!" Taemin teases when Jinki frowns.
The oldest moves to take hold of the white board and the marker, and he smirks as he turns it around to show the youngest what he wrote.
“Whatever you say, Nurse Taemin.”
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Make fun of me all you want, but if it wasn’t for me, you’d probably being forgetting to take this, and then you’re voice would sound all gross once you recover, you mean hyung." Taemin teases, and Jinki sticks his tongue out before he takes the medication.
Taemin puts a hand on Jinki’s forehead, “Are you feeling any better today, hyung?”
Jinki sends him a worried glance before putting his own hand on Taemin’s forehead, then moving to write something down.
“You’re being responsible, are you okay?”
Taemin pouts, “I’m only trying to help, hyung.”
Jinki smiles at the youngest, then nods.
"So you’re feeling better?" Taemin asks, and Jinki nods again.
"That’s good. I brought you some soup and some water. I didn’t make it, so you don’t have to worry about dying or anything." The youngest jokes, and Jinki sends him a wide grin.
Once Jinki’s done eating, Taemin puts the half eaten bowl of soup and the empty glass on the tray he brought in, and he gets ready to leave before he notices the frown on Jinki’s face.
"Hey, what’s wrong? I thought you were feeling better?" The youngest asks, and Jinki writes something quickly on the board before he shows it to Taemin.
“It’s boring not being able to talk.”
"Well, I’ll come keep you from being bored as soon as I clean this up. I’ll only be a minute, hyung." Taemin smiles, kissing Jinki’s cheek before he leaves to go into the kitchen.
He chuckles to himself when he notices Jinki’s cheeks go red.
Half an hour later, Jinki’s beaten Taemin in at least twenty games of tic-tac-toe, and the youngest is pouting at the oldest who’s smirking in triumph.
"You cheated~" Taemin whines, and the look Jinki gives him doesn’t even need to be coupled with the white board, because it so obviously says, "You can’t cheat at tic-tac-toe, loser.”
"Let’s play something different. Rock Paper Scissors!" Taemin suggests, but he notices that Jinki’s starting to look tired and his eyes are drooping.
"You’re getting sleepy from the medicine, hyung. You can go to sleep, and I’ll tell the others to stay quiet while you’re resting." Taemin suggests, but Jinki shakes his head.
“Stay with me, maknae.” The white board says, and Taemin smiles.
"Okay, but at least let me turn off the lights, hyung." Taemin laughs when Jinki waves him off like a servant, and he turns the lights off before moving back to the bed.
Taemin crawls under the blankets with his hyung, and he kisses Jinki’s cheek before snuggling his head into Jinki’s chest.
Jinki doesn’t mind recovering from surgery if it means he gets to sleep with Taemin like this almost every night.
sdjfhjksdhfjsdf your are welcome TT , yes sometimes i reread it too but it ends when they had finally made some improvement TT
Yeaaa T^T. But well, I guess understand. Like after all the drama is over, I just kinda lose the motivation to finish off the rest of the less interesting parts of my story.
(and then maybe I make more drama in the story just to keep it interesting xDD… Which may not turn out to be a good thing to my readers because I like angst and to me interesting = someone gets hurt or somewhere along that lines)
fivestarmonds replied to your post “Does anyone know this Ontae fic where Ontae met in a bar and Taemin...”
i know this one, but sadly i think it´s abandoned TT http://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view/143975/forgetting-a-life-with-love-korean-ontae-romance-shinee-keyhyun-graphiccontent
Aww, that's so sad T_T. I'm gonna reread it anyways, and maybe make up an ending in my head or something xD. Thank you so much!
