A few fixes for some of my older food mods and then throwing in some unreleased content as well.

Vending Machine Foods: 🥪

Fixed the issue with the food pieces not being cleaned up after eating. No more lingering cashew pieces and half-eaten sandwiches littering your lots!

On start up of your world, any stuck vending machines will be reset.

More Activities Activity Table

When I updated the Toddler Food and Snacks mod a few months ago, I forgot to upload a refreshed version of the MAAT as it's linked to that mod. This fixes the issue with toddlers not being able to get meals when served to them at the table. Thanks to @sarahsarita00 for reporting.

Cereal Mod: 🥣🥛

Fixed the missing texture for the Honey Rings cereal box.

Added Hunger advertising so Sims are more likely to eat autonomously to auto fulfill their needs.

🆕 Added a new cereal food object (Life Cereal) rather than a recipe which you can find at the grocery store along with the other cereals. You can also add fruit to it which will increase the food units (how much it will fill your hunger) and change the quality of the cereal based on the fruit. It only recognizes certain types of fruits. Can also be fed to toddlers in the high chair. Thanks and credits to @sofayya for the cereal box object from her Kitchen Clutter conversion. This won't overwrite her files.

Fillable Sink

Kind of random but I got this idea when doing the new cereal and it's something I had thought about before primarily inspired by this collection from Leaf-Motif (they make such cute stuff!) so that's why the script is included in the cereal box file above so you need the main cereal file

It's a sink that fills up with dishes as it gets dirty. Once you clean it, the dishes are gone. Kind of simple but I like my homes to look a bit messy and lived in at times.

Ice Cream: 🍦

You can buy this ice cream at the grocery store in the Home section. There are two options: ChocoFudge and Rainbow Fruit Popsicles.

The ChocoFudge can act like a kind of comfort food for some and improve your mood. The popsicles will stain your tongue but it wears off after a few hours. Kids and toddlers can show off their tongue.

Both leave popsicle sticks which is something I'm using for another mod so that's why it's there but feel free to throw them away as they have no purpose currently.

It's ice cream so it needs to be kept in the fridge or it will melt after about 2-3 in-game hours.

Child+ can grab an ice cream treat for toddlers from the fridge. It will clip into the toddlers because it's basically too big for their tiny heads. 😭 Eating too much sugar will get them sick though. They can also ask any Teen+ for treats.

Cookie Jar: 🍪

Then finally a functional version of the cookie jar from sofayya's Kitchen Clutter conversion. You can add any recipe-based cookie to it. It will only recognize group servings, not individual cookies. You can add up to 16 cookies but they have to be the same type. You can't, for example, put in chocolate chip and then later try to add sugar cookies.

You'll find it in the Kitchen Appliances section.

Cookies last 2 days before they go bad in the jar and have to be cleaned out.

Mesh credits again to sofayya for the conversion. This version won't overwrite her original version so you can have both in your game.

Biker!Curtis fixing the sink while mousey crafts with the boys at the kitchen table. Her eyes are not on the craft tho

The plunger wouldn’t cut it anymore, and despite your efforts to use Drano so the line would be clearer, the sink was still backed up and plugged. You’d done your fair share of trying to fix the sink though you were no plumber and you didn’t know where to begin in fixing it other than knowing to turn off the water access under the sink.

You then had to make the decision to find Curtis and ask him who you should call. You had approached his office while he was talking with one of his bigger, more intimidating friends, and crept into the room to ask him about possibly calling a plumber for the sink.

Curtis, true to his nature, had told you that he’d handle it and you left just as quickly as you had gotten there. You had shrugged it off and left it alone, taking stock in the knowledge that Curtis said he would handle it and moved onto the tasks you’d wanted to complete.

“Mini-pumpkins.” You sat at the table with Theo and James, a handful of elastic bands and plastic spoons. “We’re making catapults.”

You’d given them clear instructions and had only started to help them wind the elastics around their mini-pumpkins when Curtis entered the kitchen with a bag of tools by his side and a towel in his hands. He had stalked right past you to the kitchen sink, first setting the tools on the counter and then glancing your way.

“I’m handling it.”

“Curtis,” you departed the boys and walked toward him, “when you said you were handling it, I thought you meant you were hiring someone.”

“Mousey,” Curtis let the pet name fall from his lips again, as he opened the cupboard doors and dropped the tool bag to the floor, “I’m not having some fuck I don’t know or trust in my home with my boys and my girlfriend.”

Your heart hammered in your chest, the first time he had ever called you his girlfriend and it was before he became a handyman. “But…isn’t the point of being the boss having the luxury of not having to do these things yourself? To have a professional do it?”

Curtis’ scowl was poignant and you had squirmed where you stood, his eyes burning holes into you. “I can fucking do it.”

“I didn’t…I didn’t mean to make you angry-“ You stuttered and stammered, looking back over your shoulder at Theo and James who were still busy. “Curtis I’m sorry-“

“Stop apologizing, mousey. Your voice is distracting.” Curtis hadn’t even begun yet and he was already losing concentration.

“My voice? How is my voice-“

“Because every time I hear your voice, I think about what other sounds you could make in the kitchen.” Curtis’ comment had you snapping your mouth closed, and you turned sharply on your heel and scurried back to the table, taking your place in the middle of the two boys.

Curtis smirked and dropped behind the counter, his knees hitting the tiles before he dug into the bag and pulled out the appropriately sized crescent wrench. “I’ll find out sooner rather than later, baby. You and I are going to christen every surface in this place.”
