Got my car back!! So happy. So so happy. Been told to drive it really gently for 200 miles though. That's going to be a mission. Turns out the spring that broke was actually fitted upside down...

My car broke down last Saturday, but my trusted mechanic friend has healed her of all afflictions. I took her for a quick drive up and down the road and it was the smoothest (and quietest) she has ever run. Joy and thankfulness abound.
