Jack is actually a normal boy, no evil thing and stuff.. He is just a teenager who had a reaaaaalllyy bad childhood because of bullies and being a mind genius, he wants revenge and stuff, and chase knows it, he is always hard bullshit on him to make him give up the evil plans and he actually cares about jack.
Chase is a evil warlord but he has honor and also was a monk at the begining, yes with one hand he can conquer the world in many ways but he decided to not to, he wants a peaceful life in balance with good and evil, because goddamn it 1500 he could’ve done something, yet he didnt because again he is honorable and he doesnt want shit in his life.
So, in this doodles there is “angel” more like fixed Jack,that has grown and over came the thing about his shitty life and begining to consider that as a mind genius he could do amazing things in the world and starts doing it, he remember with happiness that phase when he was all “world domination”
AdultJack is a friking JERK to people, to exception the monks ( who helped him in a long process) but still good to society and the world in general, “evil in my own way”
Chase is quite the stalker watching everything that jack does, and being a proud fan boy, yes fanboy , because conscious or not, Jack is conquering the world and still in balance with it.
monks are grown up and are happy monks with a hell lot of Hey/Xia conflict going on, jack sometimes join them for fun, tho he always keep the monkey staff, all other wus are given to the monks
Other thing to mention is that in this AU Jack hates Chase, why?, because chase gained what he wanted, Jack gave up all the evil because he was tired, and chase wouldnt help him, he was broken and actually chase was the main reason…
Chase is actually hurt about it, but again, he know that jack should stay safe and not in a dangerous magic conflict, no matter how much of a beauty or potential chase sees in jack… 27/01/2017
