What is your favourite memory from a holiday/vacation?

oh, I have had some great vacations. going to London last year was, naturally, the most epic and wonderful thing. just getting to meet L., Lottie, Kate, Mel, and Fiona, was incredible. being able to spend time with Erin's precious face is ALWAYS inexpressibly fantastic. but we also got to tour theatres, take a boat down the Thames, picnic in Greenwich Village, ride the London Eye, have tea at the Ritz, see Much Ado About Nothing TWICE, get a photo with Catherine Tate, visit 221b Baker Street, and go to the Doctor Who Experience, not to mention just wandering around London. LONDON. I cannot choose a favorite memory from that trip, the whole thing was a dream come true. <3

Tell me about the last book you read.

um. I am in the middle of re-reading Good Omens for comfort, I also am starting Death Comes to Pemberley because a friend said I'd love it and loaned it to me but wants it back to loan to someone else soon, I have Watchmen sitting on my bedside table, and another Thor, and I just bought the new Sookie Stackhouse book for my nook (I don't remember what it's called). in all honesty, the state of chaos I'm living in is usually given away by the number of books I'm reading at a time. I prefer to be a one book at a time kind of girl, so life is a little chaotic at the moment. I don't remember what the last book I finished was, I haven't had time or energy to read for pleasure in awhile. 

Sweet or sour flavours?

I like both, and sometimes together... but if I have to choose, I will probably always choose sweet!

Do you have a favourite colour(s), and if so, why is it/are they your favourite?

my favorite color is rainbow, I always say. I have a very hard time choosing favorite anythings, and colors are so tied in with moods, I never could choose a favorite! but rainbows almost always make me smile, so that's why!

If you went to Hogwarts/were a wizard, what’s the most important spell for you to know?

ooh! I think my most frequently-used spell... hmmm. it might be a tie between reparo and protego, because I'm clumsy and break things, and I'd like to be able to have a shield charm to protect my people. <3 also, I really need to know how to produce a patronus, that is super important.

If you could spend a day with up to six ~celebrities~, who would you spend it with and why?

I would really like to spend a day hanging out with Tom Hiddleston and Rupert Grint, and maybe Simon Pegg, too! I think we'd all get along well! of all the celebrities I love, I really would love to be friends with them. and they seem like the type of guys who would make you feel comfortable, not all worried about being ridiculous and making a fool of yourself, as I inevitably would. 

If I said you could have one fictional best friend, out of all the fictional characters, who would you choose?

oh my god. I think my brain might explode if I try to choose only one fictional best friend. I might regret putting a name down here, but I'm going with Elizabeth Bennet, which works nicely because Erin is already the Lizzie to my Jane. <3

Whose is the first smile you can remember seeing?

wow, what a great question!! I wish I could remember. I don't know at all. I have vague memories of my preschool teacher's smile, but probably it should be my parents or my sister. (my sister didn't like me when I was a baby, so maybe she didn't smile at me very much. hahaha)

If you could see one movie right now, whether it exists or not, what would it be?

I would like to be watching the Avengers right now. hahaha

Which kind of hug is your favourite? (Cuddle, squeeze, squish, hold, half-, warm long, etc)

I love ALL the hugs. I am pro-hug! 

What is your ideal present to receive?

oh gosh, I don't really know how to answer this! I love letters, and pretty much anything in the mail. I love emails and phone calls and texts and just, things that remind me that people are thinking of me. those are my favorite presents, whatever shape they take. <3

A - Your current OTP

Amy/Rory, with a side of Amy/Eleven/Rory OT3 delightfulness. I ... have not been so fannish about a m/f ship before! James/Lily a little back in my HP days but not to the same degree. It's quite nice, although I'm sad that it's not really a coincedence that this is my first major het OTP and first major ship with a decent chance of ending well. (previous main fannish ships being Remus/Sirius, Jack/Ianto and Gwen/Morgana. yeahhhh. :/)

So that sucks because I want more positive female homosocial relationships and canonically queer relationships that don't end in tragedy in my genre TV, but then there are the Ponds! Who are charmingly not at all a typical m/f marriage and therefore make me squee a lot over their preciousness. Normally I at least somewhat side-eye the canon love interests for my favourite female characters, but then Rory happened and was THE BEST on account of being a dork and super cute and also recognising the fact that Amy is made of amazing and, yes. I love the Ponds because of how they bring out the best in each other - Rory steadies Amy; Amy gives Rory a sense of adventure and a life beyond Leadworth. They complement each other in all kinds of ways and are wonderful and will walk off into the sunset together and be happy forever. <3

Also they have really, really cute faces.

K - How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom

Doctor Who fans are frequently both the best and the worst of all possible fandoms. I like to focus on the good and ignore the rest where I can (I hate all the companion bashing and ship wars and other ridiculous so muuuuch, omg). I love how it's a fandom where squee and ridiculousness go hand in hand with really high level literary analysis and intense theorising - it provides more or less everything I could want in a fandom. There are a lot of very talented people here and it's awesome.

I wish there were more Ponds fanworks, though! I absolutely understand why Eleven/River grabs fans' attention more in terms of writing fic etc, and I do like that ship very much. But it's not one I go out of my way to hunt stuff down for the way I do for Amy/Rory and Amy/Eleven/Rory.

DEAR FANDOM, MAKE MORE STUFF FOR MY SHIP. I ALSO WANT A PONY. Kisses, me.

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom - oh gosh, well i've been in and out of fandoms for over eleven years, but longest lasting is definitely harry potter, which has been around eight years. i tend to flashbulb in fandoms, but harry potter has always been more of a slow burn. i'm not always actively involved in it, but i've never considered myself out either.

L - Your favorite fanartist/author gives you one request, what do you ask for - oh my god, i don't even know. the answer to this changes on a day by day basis. i have a lot of stories that live in my head that i play in when i'm bored or in bed, but i can't write for shit, so it would be awesome if i could dictate one of my dream fics and have someone right it. they're usually completely cliche and totally indulgent (like mpreg, oh my god, i'm sort of obsessed with mpreg in my brain but i mostly hate it in practice) as for fanart, i'm pretty easy to please. i like porn and lip biting and TIE PULLING. GIVE ME ALL THE BOYS IN MESSY SCHOOL UNIFORMS AND DISHEVELED HAIR AND TIE PULLINGGGGG.
