History fans will note that this representation hits some great key historical moments, but also that it quietly dodges the role of women of color, and the rest of the era's race relations. Still, it's a wonderful song and a beautiful vid.

Rita Hayworth's incredible dancing, magically arranged to the tune of Stayin' Alive. This vid is one of my absolute go-tos when I need a little more happiness and beauty in my life.
