Home (Asmundr) Dialogue Edits
Kique actually sucks at creating emotion through dialogue... and well, dialogue in general. I am a writer and it physically hurts to read some of his "conversations" between the characters, so I edit them!
Art credits belong to Kique. I will not be sharing any edits from Patreon pages out of respect for the artist, not that he deserves it. If the pictures are too small, the dialogue will be written below. Link to original: https://home-comic.thecomicseries.com/comics/885/ https://home-comic.thecomicseries.com/comics/886/
Fjordor: Good evening. Kargo: Oh, Fjordor... Uhm... Good evening. Can I help you with anything...? Fjordor: I know our last... encounter was not pleasant. But, if we are to live in the same Tribe... Kargo: Please, Fjordor, do not speak of it. I have done many things that I regret. Destroying your trust is one of them. You show me hospitality.
Fjordor: It broke my heart to heart of your death... Kargo: Fjordor, you're not at fault for any of this. You did what you should have, and at first, I was furious with you. But, there is no denying that Ferah felt at home with you. If I had not done what I did... Fjordor: Kargo, the Capital is still after you. If that dog reports our whereabouts, they will come in numbers to take your life and those who stand in their way.
Kargo: I know I have the whole capital against me. I don't want for anybody to get hurt, but what choice do I-...? (implying he thinking he has no choice but to run) Fjordor: Son, I need you to stop thinking about yourself. It is time to stop running from your past. It is time to stand up and face the world. The capital may not understand, but your conscience will be clear.
Kargo: But, I do not wish to die again... Fjordor: If they desire to kill you, Son, they will have your blood on their paws no matter what. If you are truly regretful, you will not force your Tribe to defend your crimes.
Fjordor: A true, honest soul does not expect others to fight his battles. While you should not have murdered those merchants, you are not yet beyond complete redemption. I beg of you, as a friend, do not run.
