Rosebird illustration I did for @yuriolympics Main Round 1! Based on the prompt ‘Revival’, this is my creative take on Raven’s semblance and how she might’ve tried (and failed) to reach Summer through it after her death. Hopefully the bg comes across as comic panels with Raven’s portal breaking through to reach Summer!

You know, as I'm rewatching this show, it occurs to me... while Weiss is woefully unprepared for fighting for real - as opposed to in a training scenario - during the Emerald Forest arc, she does display at least some signs of having experience fighting alongside others. Which is the reverse of Ruby, who has substantial experience in actual non-training fights, but both her dialogue and her actions suggest she has very limited experience fighting alongside other people. Maybe Yang, but that's it
