The Land of Älthren
Älthren is a region on a world called Ëolna. According to local lore, the “planting of Ëolna’s garden” began here with 5 seeds shaped from a substance called eldafëol. Only 1 of those trees survives in later ages, however: the large blue tree at the center of the northern region of this map. That tree is called Mýrás. The first known settlement, Pelren, was founded beneath it. During the reign of King Älynor the Wise, it became a vast kingdom; but his war against Gälenor, the northeastern region, brought great sorrow to the land. Yet even that fails to compare to the destruction wrought upon the landscape of Älthren by the Blight of Envy in the elder days, and the Ethereal War of later days.
