One of my favorite parts of the show Flack is despite Caroline being ruthless, ambitious, throwing apples at employees during meetings, resorting to the messiest sometimes basically illegal tactics for her clients she has a good relationship with her daughter and granddaughter. Not the same old trope of a powerful woman being a shitty mother, but a powerful woman who clawed her way to the top to make sure her child had everything. Her daughter, in turn, sees this as a virtue and not a weapon to be used against her mother and she admires Caroline going after her own ambitions and dreams with her daughter in tow. You only ever see in media ambitious women depicted as absent mothers that create angry adult children who resent the parent for pursuing their own dreams or for working hard to make sure their kids did not need for anything. This was so refreshing to see on screen.

Caroline was literally the best part of this show. Hands. Down.
