Button-up buttoned up. Oxford shoes tied. Pants cuffed. Cologne on. You're ready to have a heavenly time in Hell's Kitchen, so you take your man to Vlada lounge. Four gin and tonics later and his foot is touching yours. Your waitress gives you a drink on the house, because she thinks you guys are adorable. She says her name is Black Beauty* and you feel as though this night can't get any better, but it does – Flako's Remix of "Elusive" by Lianne La Havas comes on and you both bond over your love for her smooth vocals and this particular remix's bubbly synths and galloping percussion. And with that, he finally pops the question: will you go home with me?

*I went to Vlada lounge recently, and the waitress said her name was Black Beauty. I highly recommend both the bar and her. Also Lianne La Havas drank a gin and tonic when I saw her in concert in September, so I'm sure she would recommend it, too.
