Finally getting around to the inktober commissions! Apologies for the delay, I still have intentions of finishing them all before the end of the month.

First up, a red capped plover with flannel flowers and driftwood! I used Daler-Rowney sepia acrylic ink and wash on hot press watercolor paper (with a bit of white ink after my masking fluid pen decided to be a butt by not rubbing off clean)

Flannel flower (Actinotus helianthi). It is endemic to the sandstone plateau around Sydney.
