anything cursed about crocodiles? i love them sm!!!
you don’t really hear about it a lot, but crocodiles will often hunt cooperatively!
they sometimes hang out in big groups, and if a large animal or three happens to blunder into the water nearby like a bunch of big stupidheads, the crocodile pack will gang up on them and overwhelm their prey by sheer weight of numbers! (and it doesn’t take a whole lot of numbers to overwhelm all but the largest animals, when you’re a fucking crocodile)
once the unlucky animal has been dispatched, the crocodiles will all share in the meal together in a display of reptilian comradeship.
this tactic provides more benefit to the crocodiles than hunting alone, since prey can escape a lone crocodile but has zero chance of evading three of them at once, and 1/3 of a zebra is better than no zebra at all!
