Going through one of my old youtube accounts and found this masterpiece animated with Flash 2.0 circa 2011. I learnt flash in 2004 and I just stuck with it and I would teach my students to make mock interface designs with flash, and they hated it and would use Adobe Premiere instead.
Flash 2.0 Step 1
So some of you may remember this and some of you may not but a few years ago I made a motion controlled RGB LED light suit prototype. I had RGB LEDS attached to the arms and when someone moved their left arm, the LEDs on that arm would change colors. If someone moved their right arm, the LEDs on that arm would change colors. I used an Xbox 360 Kinnect and some computer programs to track the movement and send that data to an Arduino to change the lights.
Well now I want to improve upon that project by making the suit it’s on entity and having it dependent on computer programs and a Kinnect. Instead I plan on using accelerometers and gyroscopes to get my data that will change the colors.
It’s the beginning of a new year and everyone is making resolutions and trying to become better, and I’m going to join the club however my resolution is to get out of my funk and back into the swing of things and go back to being me! So here are my goals for this year:
1. Work on my project Flash 2.0 and blog about the steps here 2. Learn Linux and blog about the experience here 3. Go back to being healthy and running again. 4. Take more pictures and make more art 5. Get a travel savings account started 6. Update my resume and website like I have been trying to do for the past 3 months
