So this is my first time really drawing a dragon. I've done sketches in the past but I never really liked them or saw them through. Today I wanted to do something nice and push my skills so I made this of Hutt's dragon The Collector because it just inspired me. Seen above are the big version and the small version.
I think I might try to do more dragons now but man did this take FOREVER because I'm still trying to find my style.
I wanted to make my adoptable more appealing so people would buy it so I drew it in a more human like form. If you get this adopt you will get both forms sent to you as separate files and of course you will get the adopt card as well.

Just a little something I’m working on for my new adoptables.
So a few days ago I made a post talking about my personal brand. At the time I liked it a lot, but after playing around with it and trying to make icons to match it for my website I discovered that it was too cluttered and that I actually did not like it as much as I thought I did. So I went in and made a simpler one that I like a lot better, and one that I plan on using for a long time.

Flash 2.0 Step 1
So some of you may remember this and some of you may not but a few years ago I made a motion controlled RGB LED light suit prototype. I had RGB LEDS attached to the arms and when someone moved their left arm, the LEDs on that arm would change colors. If someone moved their right arm, the LEDs on that arm would change colors. I used an Xbox 360 Kinnect and some computer programs to track the movement and send that data to an Arduino to change the lights.
Well now I want to improve upon that project by making the suit it’s on entity and having it dependent on computer programs and a Kinnect. Instead I plan on using accelerometers and gyroscopes to get my data that will change the colors.
It’s the beginning of a new year and everyone is making resolutions and trying to become better, and I’m going to join the club however my resolution is to get out of my funk and back into the swing of things and go back to being me! So here are my goals for this year:
1. Work on my project Flash 2.0 and blog about the steps here 2. Learn Linux and blog about the experience here 3. Go back to being healthy and running again. 4. Take more pictures and make more art 5. Get a travel savings account started 6. Update my resume and website like I have been trying to do for the past 3 months
So lately I've been having a hard time finding a job. I'm stuck in the college graduate loop where I'm over qualified for a lot of jobs and under qualified for the others. I had been doing some research and I found out you don't need a teaching degree to be a teacher. All you need is a bachelor's degree and a temporary teaching certificate to get you started. So I was like oooooo the school distract I'm in teaching digital design (essentially just 3 years of photoshop) and Web design (just 3 years of dream weaver) to high schoolers. I took those classes, I have a degree in that field let's go talk to people and get a job.................. I was wrong. Apparently I have to have a buisness ed and tech ed degree to teach in my field. Like really? I spent 5 years and thousands of dollars to be told I can't teach my field to kids because I have a B.F.A in digital art (a degree that let me focus on Web and graphic design). I was a T.a. in college for the Web design classes. I've been learning html and css for 10 years now and I've been using photoshop for 7, but my degree makes me unqualified to teach Web design and graphic design because it's not a buisness degree. They won't even let me teach art. Instead I have to spend $800+ to test my knowledge so they know I'm not lying. This. This is one of the reasons our educational system is shit. You have teachers teaching things they aren't familiar with and don't have degrees in and didn't study but the people who want to teach those classes aren't allowed to because it's not the right degree you think they should have. Both florida counties I went to school in had unqualified teachers trying to teach kids how to become animators, web designers, and graphic designers. These classes were essentially "here is your book, learn this computer program and pass this test so we can get more money". In some cases the teachers weren't even using industry programs. How do you expect those kids to go get a "buisness" job after they graduate when you didn't teach them shit? And yet here I am wanting to help these kids and actually teach them but I can't because I don't have the right bullshit degree.
Being a nature photographer seems great, maybe I should try…
So I’m just in a drawing mood. This time i decided to draw the princess of my clan Huo. She is one of my favorite dragons and she really fits the theme of my lair. I also decided to draw her with dragon type features like her ears and her horns. Over all I’m really happy with this drawing.

Alright, so I’m finally done with this image. I gave her a little bit of depth and a small bit of color but I don’t think i will do anymore. I say that but who really knows? I don’t! XD

So today I decided to try something different and paint some clouds. I used a photo I took for reference/inspiration. The whole thing took about an hour, and I;m really happy with it. It is a bit blurry but this was a learning experience for me.
