-Djune 5th: What's your favourite upbeat Djo song?
There's 'Mr. mountebank' (but that was my answer to yesterday's question), 'Gloom', 'They don't know what's right', 'Try me' and 'Runner' as honorable mentions, but I discovered 'Flash mountain' just the other day and it takes the cake! I listen to it every day now first thing in the morning and it can really get me pumped for the day, especially the longer work days. I've noticed that I use this song as a way to sort of section off certain parts of my day as well (ADHD braining ahead). It'll be the lead up to me going into work and giving it my 200% there, and then it'll be the lead up to me heading home and getting in my free time state of mind as well. Djo music is really my car ritual, man. And it helps me regulate my thought process depending on what mindset I need to get into. I've honeslty never tried listening to his music in the morning on my off days though! And maybe I should since regulating my emotions and thoughtprocess on my off days is always unnecessarily hard :')
I'm terrible at taking videos. The show was fun, though
i think i could write an essay about the impact that the encore of the djo concert has had on my life
Djo is as great a drummer as he is a songwriter
You know when a song makes you FEEL THINGS??
Well, this one makes me feel like I’m on fire. In a good way. Scratches all the autistic/adhd brain itches and makes me feel wide awake and so so alive.
Listen to it.
Did I almost faint while headbanging to Flash Mountain?
Maybe. But I would have gone out happy.
