While Dewey and Huey could do without Flash, Webby and Shelly think he’s the sweetest thing, when he’s not trying to hit on Shelly only to be rejected because he’s underaged and she’s married with a kid.
Will we get to see Huey feeling treatened by a 10 years old? This concept souns so funny!

Wait a minute, who is Flash??
He’s a troubled kid who’s been in and out of foster homes and befriends Chase and his family.
He also has that type of crush Luke did on Jessie but with Shelly, which is hysterical because Huey feels threatened by an actual 10 year old.
Skye gains a crush on him because she see’s underneath his tough exterior, he’s lost and wants to be feel like he’s somewhere he belongs.
I feel like shelly would be all nice to flash to bother huey and she's like "What? My competition is a guidebook so it's only fair that yours is a 10 year old child".
WHEEZE SHE WOULD.
But all jokes aside, Shelly’s bond with Flash has gotta be one of my favorites.
She connects with him and his confusion about what it means to have a family and how he feels like he’s unwanted. Being in and out of foster homes makes ya have low self esteem and selfworth, and Shelly understands that better than anyone.
It took Shelly 10 years before she properly met, bonded with and understood her own mother. Flash wants to know where he came from and who his parents are but at the same time, if they put him in a foster home, did they really want him? He’s scared of the truth, and Shelly becomes that guide for him to understand that everything he’s feeling and questioning is okay.
You’re not obligated to your blood family, you’re not, it’s up to you to decide if they deserve to be in your life. Especially when the reasons they haven’t been in your life have nothing to do with you, but you feel like you did something wrong to push them away. Shelly spent years learning this, and now Flash is gonna be learning this too.
