I am continuing my journey into comics and mapping out character traits. Growing up with animated versions of Wally Flash + knowing that Barry is best friends with Hal Jordan, known menace, led me to have a very diff view Barry’s personality.
So when I see Barry in like, Full Nightgown and Slippers and call the people actively killing him “Kinda…unusual” I do and a double take

things the writers could've done with Cisco's grief arc instead of dropping it in the crossover:
-show him supporting his mom
-using coping strategies and
-maybe teaching coping strategies considering he's the third person to lose a loved one within the year and they barely deal with grief properly on this show
-show him connecting with Wally over loss but again, that would mean acknowledging Wally's grief properly
-his mom
-having someone from his support group reach out to him for help
-person from his support group is a meta and is lashing out badly
-showing him try to talk himself down when he hallucinates Dante and it not working and that's how he figures out it's Savitar messing with him
-HIS MOM
(is it bothering anyone else that hr is going around sleeping with women wearing another man’s face?)
the longer the flash goes on, the more I'm left scratching my head over how central city handles metas. we've already seen that ccpd are overwhelmingly biased against them, but now we've learned that if an innocent meta goes to the hospital for treatment, they'll be flagged as one. and then what? many questions. uncomfortable questions.
