Labeled: Comic - New History Of The DC Universe #01 Cover
Art by Scott Koblish DC Comics (2025)
Looks like another reboot. Another????
And counting...
History is good. If you base your present on it to learn from the past mistakes. Repeatinhg it is a mistakes in itself.
There it is: Batso and Robin presiding the image from above and up front. The founding character? Part of the general population, lost in the crowd. Dressed and acting like in its first aparition, back in 1938. It figures: he's still in 1938. There's also Lois sprung to action...taking notes? Exciting, ain't it? At least, Shazam got a flying role. Doctor Fate and the Spectre in a preeminent role...don't know why.
Diana? Also part of the background. History says she was the first female hero, now Liberty Bell seems more important. Or Phantom Girl...or anyone. But we have Batso, the main foundational character swooping over, extending his...wings?
Even Plastic Man is in a preeminent positon, over Supes and Wondy. WE can already infer what this DC History is all about.
The artist is not to blame. Not entirely. I bet they used to call him the "Koblish Maru", lol.
Count me out. I don't like history re-written and told by the Ministry of Truth. I know my history.
During a future Crisis
(The Titans are about to crash land into an alternate universe)
Troia: (trying to fly the invisible jet) Hold on, everyone! This is gonna be rough!
Tempest: (panicking) We're gonna die! We're gonna die! We're gonna die! We're gonna-! (sees Mar'i sitting next to him)
Mar'i: (scared)
Tempest: (smiles weakly) Be... fine. We're gonna be fine.
