Hi!
So after playing Okami for a little bit 5 hours straight instead of homework haha who’s counting? I decided to write a little flashfic that turned into a mini idea of a crossover between my own unpublished world and Nippon, therefore it’s more of a short fanfic that I’m going to try and keep short so I’m going to be posting new chapters on here. I don’t plan on this idea being very long, just long enough to sate my hunger to insert Arly into Nippon I suppose. Please enjoy!
---Credits below!---
Okami belongs to Capcom
Hiraeth, Arly, and this writing belong to @tkwolf45 (me!)

Introduction Part 3
Jitters wasn’t usually packed around 9:30, most people having gotten their coffee earlier and were already at work, which is why the Team had decided that it was the perfect time to meet up there for coffee. It made Becky feel more at ease when there were less people around. It was Cisco’s turn to get the drinks, and he was nervous and embarrassed about it. “Cisco asked the new barista out on a date.” Becky stated, and Barry and Caitlin smiled.
“Yes, yes he did, and it did not go well!” Barry laughed.
“Where is Not- Dr. Wells? And Jay?”
“‘Not-Dr. Wells’?” Barry asked.
“Yes, Not-Dr. Wells. Where is he?”
“He stayed back at the Cortex because not everyone knows he’s not our Dr. Wells.” Caitlin answered.
“Oh.” She seemed to process that for a second before continuing. “And Jay?”
“No, not quite, Rebecca, Jay…Jay left. He doesn’t want to see Barry get hurt.” Caitlin explained, part of her worried that maybe Jay was right, and Barry wasn’t strong enough yet to take on Zoom.
“He’s gone, he’s back, he’s gone, he’s back, he’s gone, he’s back.” Becky said smiling to Caitlin.
“So, he’ll come back? You know that?” Caitlin asked, hoping to herself that she did know, because she really wanted Jay to stay.
“He’s gone, he’s back, he’s gone, he’s back, he’s gone, he’s back.” Becky repeated, though she frowned instead this time.
“I was just getting getting used to Jay being part of the team.” Caitlin sighed, though not complete sad anymore, since Jay would be back.
“Well, Jay is a hero. They always seem to show up just when you need them.” Barry said just as Cisco returned to the table with the drinks.
Setting the cupholder down Cisco leaned back in his chair and waved a piece of paper in the air. “Yo, beat that.” He told Barry who exclaimed at the sight of the barista’s number. “That’s how it’s done, young Padawan. Going on a date next week.”
“Nice! Things are looking up for Cisco Ramon!” Barry cheered as he grabbed his coffee. Caitlin rolled her eyes fondly at the boys as she grabbed her, and pasted the hot chocolate over to Becky.
“I guess so.” Cisco’s mood dropped a little as he continued, “still stuck with these powers, though. Just don’t know how to feel about them.”
“We both know things.” Becky smiled excitedly, “Now we’re both Delphi!”
“You don’t have to go through this alone.” Barry patted his arm reassuringly.
“And Rebecca’s right! Now you need a cool name.” Caitlin leaned forward with her head tilted as she playfully reminded Cisco that he was now a superhero.
“Oh, snap! You’re totally right.” Cisco looked to Becky, “But I can’t be Delphi because you’re already Delphi.”
Becky’s face pinched up in confusion again. “But there’s lots of caitlin’s, why can there not be lots of delphi’s?”
“Because Delphi is a name we gave you. There’s no one like you. Like we gave to Barry, because no one is like him.” Cisco explained, glancing at Caitlin for help.
“Remember how you explained to me how you see everybody?” Caitlin leaned forward as she tried to help explain to Becky. “How two spear mint plants may both be called spear mint, maybe even look similar, but one might have more leaves than the other, or a different pattern of leaves? It’s like that. The spear mint is still a spear mint, but it’s leaves give it a more specific identification. Cisco is still a Cisco, but he want’s a more personal identification. Like your cool name. All we’re doing is changing Cisco’s label when we’re together. He’s still Cisco, just like you’re still Rebecca, but we can call him something else, too.”
“You’re comparing me to a spear mint plant?” Cisco asked, confused and wondering if he should be offended. Caitlin just glared at him, and turned back to Becky to make sure she understood.
“So…I’m a Rebecca Taylor, but I’m Delphi. He’s a Bartholomew Allen, but he’s Flash,” the others looked around quickly to make sure no one heard, but the only other people in Jitters was a small group over in the opposite corner, too far to have been able to hear their conversation, and the barista’s at the counter, also too far away to hear. “You don’t have a special name yet because you haven’t bloomed yet, and he’s a Cisco Ramon, but he has bloomed and now needs a more specific label.”
“Yes, but remember, we don’t use our special names outside of S.T.A.R. Labs, remember?” Caitlin chided softly.
Becky’s eyes widened in horror before she bit the insides of her lips to hold them together and her hand started rapidly tapping her thigh.
Barry leaned forward and placed his hand on the table in front of her to get her attention, but she just kept tapping anxiously. “Hey, hey, it’s okay, Becky. It’s okay. Everyone makes mistakes. You just gotta remember for next time. Okay?”
“Sorry, Barry.” Becky whispered, though her tapping did slow.
“I accept your apology. Now, let’s figure out the perfect name for Cisco.” Barry said, smiling at Becky as she lifted her gaze to the group again.
“I gotta think about this one, ya know, cuz you know me, it’s gotta be perfect!” Cisco exclaimed. Barry hummed I’m agreement as he took a sip of his coffee. “Something that really sings, ya know. Something like…”
“Vibe?” Barry suggested.
“Vibe.” Caitlin tested it out, and nodded her approval.
“Vibe.” Cisco smiled.
“I can’t say it outside the Cortex.” Becky said, but she nodded her approval to the new name as well. “When will we be naming Caitlin?” She asked innocently.
The group of friends laughed as they continued to enjoy their drinks, unaware that a they were being watched over by Harrison Wells.

Introduction Part 2
“Caitlin, are you guys okay?” Barry asked as he walked into the Cortex. Caitlin was patching up a small cut on Jay’s forehead, but for having the van flipped, they were in great condition.
Jay looked to Barry as Caitlin finished. “I’m sorry Barry, Dr. Light’s never killed before, I thought we could reason with her.”
“You cannot reason with someone under Zoom’s influence, and now a man is dead because of you, Garrick.” Wells yelled. “This whole thing is because of you. He doubts himself, because of you, but believe me, Barry can do what you could not. Barry can stop Zoom!”
“I spent two years hunting Zoom.” Jay defended himself.
“Wrong!” Wells said loudly, elongating the ‘o’ as if arguing with a child. “Zoom. Hunted. You! You spent the last two years of your life running, running, running from Zoom.”
“Zoom would have killed me just like he will kill Barry if you lead him down this path!” Jay yelled back.
“No, because he is not like you. Barry runs towards danger, not from it,” The air was tense, and Becky could tell Ultimate Non-Meta Smack-Down was only seconds away from happening if someone didn’t do something to defuse the bomb between the two men.
Wells finished his earlier thought in a quiet voice, which only made it worse. “Because Barry’s not a coward.”
And the bomb went off. Jay punched Wells in the face, knocking him back into the desk railing, which Wells pushed off of and flung his body weight into his swing at Jay. Wells got a couple of hits to Jay’s midsection before Jay blocked with list left arm and gave the same treatment to Wells.
Barry just looked done with everything, Caitlin and Cisco couldn’t take their eyes off the fight, wincing with each blow landed.
Finally Barry intervened, flashing between the two men and separating them. “Enough!” Both men dropped their arms with angry huffs, and Wells walked out into the hall to finish calming down. Barry looked to the three other’s in the room and gestured it’s his head to let them know to talk to Jay while he followed Wells.
Once Barry was gone, Jay took a deep breath as he raked his hands through his hair. Caitlin walked up to him and put a comforting hand on his arm. “He had no right to say that to you, Jay. Right Becky?” Jay looked over to the woman Caitlin looked to, fully registering there was someone else in the Cortex. She had been so quiet and still that his mind had passed right over her.
“Not a coward. He runs, but not a coward.” She said it with such certainty that Jay wasn’t sure how to feel about it.
“Remember, Becky, full sentences. Who’s not a coward?” Caitlin asked like she was talking to a child. Jay looked At Caitlin with his brow raised, seeing as the woman her age, if not a little bit older.
“Jay. Jay is not a coward. He can run like Barry.” Jay’s eyes widened. How did she know?
“Yes, he used to run like Barry.” Caitlin said. She turned to him, “If she had been here when you first arrived, we would have known immediately that you were telling the truth.”
That gave Jay pause. “Why is that? How did she know I was a speedster?”
Cisco was the one to answer. “She’s like the Ancient Greek oracles who could see things. When out in the field, we call her Delphi!”
“So, you see things?” Jay asked cautiously, as she continued to stare at him.
“Not exactly. It’s not really ‘see’. I just know things. I don’t know how, and sometimes it doesn’t make sense, but I just do.” She explained, her hands nervously playing with the hem of her shirt.
“So, what else do you see?” Jay asked, mentally preparing what to do if she could see what he was really doing.
“You’re nervous, worried, angry, ready to run.” She stated.
“You’re probably nervous about her reading your mind – she can’t. Worried about Barry, and angry with Wells.” Caitlin explained.
“So it’s more, translating emotions?” Jay looked between the three.
“Probably. Even the previous Dr. Wells wasn’t sure what she did or how she’s able to do it.”
Jay held out his hand to Becky, “Well, it’s nice to meet you. Your name’s Rebecca, right?”
“Cisco likes to call me Delphi. Caitlin likes to call me Rebecca. Barry likes to call me Becky. Dr. Wells liked to call me Ms. Taylor. What do you like to be called?”
“Just Jay, Ms. Taylor. Is it okay if I call you Rebecca?”
“You can call me Rebecca, Just Jay.” Becky smiled, and Caitlin and Cisco burst out laughing.
“She takes almost everything literally, Jay.” Caitlin laughed.
Jay took his hand back and laughed quietly, “Just call me Jay, Rebecca.”
“Jay.” She repeated. “Ok.”
Becky’s smile fell to a frown as her eyes seemed to unfocused. “You’re going to hurt Caitlin, worse than Ronny or Dr. Wells, but part of you can fix it.”
The air filled with unspoken questions, Jay looking to Caitlin and Cisco for answers, and the two looking to each other. Becky’s phone dinged, breaking the tension, and she stood up, “I need to go. I’ll see you tomorrow!” Like she hadn’t spoken before. There was no urgency in her voice, she was just stating a fact.
“It was nice to meet you.” Jay nodded to her with a smile. She smiled back as she left.
“Jitters! Tomorrow! 9:30!” Cisco happy called after her as she left the Cortex.
“She’s a bit… Strange.” Jay said, not in a mean way,it as an observation.
Cisco raise his eyebrow at him. “Say the man who could run as fast as lightning but can’t because another person who can run as fast as lightning stole your speed, and threw you to another universe?”
I decided to jump aboard the Flash fanfic authors train! I've been writing fanfiction for a while, but I've never posted it on Tumblr. Some I've posted on fanfiction.net, but that was years ago. I figured I'd just keep my stuff to myself because I may never finish it. But I realized, I could just do one-shots or something so I don't have to try and find a way to make the scenes in my head come together!
Spoilers for season 1 and season 2!

Summery: Rebecca Taylor was not normal. She was never normal, not even before the Particle Accelerator exploded. But now she's a different kind of weird. Now she knows things that she shouldn't, and not even EoWells could tell her how or why. Not that had been focused on her, but he still spent some time looking into it. Now, with another Wells on the team, maybe can she figure out what makes her this new kind of different?
(I've designed her to have moderate to high-functioning Autism using my brother, some of my foster siblings, and other written works as examples for what traits she has. If I misinterpret certain ticks or traits, please let me know. I'd like to represent my brother and those like him as accurately as possible.)

Introduction part 1
“Yeah, preach!” Cisco cheered at the monitor with a mouth half-filled with Chinese take-out, not noticing the woman walking into the Cortex behind him. She was shorter than Caitlin, and had blonde hair she kept up in a long ponytail rather than brown and down. She was comfy in her two-sizes-to-big S.T.A.R Labs sweatshirt and jeans, and her simple black tennis shoes made no noise as she crossed the room to Cisco.
“Preach what?” She asked, leaning over his shoulder to peer at the screen closer, causing Cisco to launch his take-out container into the air, his body not far behind it.
“Jeez! What the hell? Don’t scare a guy like that!” He reprimanded as he turned to face the woman.
“This looks like a homemade virtual date, first person perspective.” She stated, which caused both Cisco and Barry on the other end of the feed to let out an embarrassed cough. Barry playing it off to his date as continued embarrassment that he couldn’t see very well at the moment.
“Dude, I don’t think you need me being your eyes anymore. I’ll keep an ear out, but you be with your date.” He turned off the microphone that was sitting in front of the monitor, and turned to pull the woman behind him into a hug. “Why didn’t you tell me you were back in town?”
“I just got back. The seminar was really helpful. Is Caitlin nearby so I can thank her for suggesting it?”
“She’s not here, she’s keeping an eye on our newest meta-double.” His phone vibrated in his pocket, “And that just might be her.” Pulling it out, he checked the caller ID before answering, “Hey, Cait-“ His eyes widened in panic when it was not in fact Caitlin on the other end. He listened for a second before saying, “Hold on, Jay, I’m getting Barry.”
“Caitlin is in trouble. Is she hurt?” Becky asked as Cisco all but ran back to the little monitor he had been using to help Barry, and flipped the microphone back on. “Barry! Doctor Light went after Linda just like we figured. She hit the van that Caitlin and Jay were in. You need to get over there ASAP. Yeah, yeah, Becky’s back. I’ll fill her in, just hurry.”
