👔 : A clothing headcanon

If he has any say in what he wears, you’ll never see Canada wearing a form-fitting top. From a t-shirt to the warmest pullover, everything is always oversized. This is partly because he’s insecure about how skinny/scrawny he is so he tries to hide it, but he also simply finds that kind of clothes more comfortable as they offer larger freedom of movement.

🛌 : A sleeping headcanon

Canada either is a very light sleeper or sleeps like a dead body, there’s no in-between. The reason behind this is anxiety. Often, Canada has difficulties falling asleep (almost down to mild insomnia) as he feels bad about what (in his mind) he hasn’t accomplished during the day or stressing over what’s going to happen the following day. This keeps him awake and makes his sleep very light and not restful, he wakes up at the smallest noise. It’s even worse if he’s in an unfamiliar environment, he can hardly shut a single eye.

However this, united to his overworking himself, results in Canada tiring out until he’s so exhausted that, once if he falls asleep, he sleeps for 10-12 hours straight to make up for the lost time and nothing could wake him up. He would sleep right through the end of the world.

I have already mentioned that, during particularly stressful periods, he works himself to the bone until he could even pass out standing, but even in calmer periods, he generally goes through cycles of 3-4 days in which he has a restless sleep before being exhausted to the point of getting a good night uninterrupted sleep.

Happy Tender Tuesday! Which one of your characters would go back into the restaurant to correct a wrong order? Is this assertiveness visible in other aspects of their relationship as well?

Lawrence rather than Sophie would, because Sophie has a lot of sympathy for waiters and wouldn’t want to bother them. Lawrence would mention it but he would be really nice and jokey about it and leave a big tip anyway. Lawrence and Sophie are both quite assertive, but it manifests itself in very different ways.

Movie or Show: my family and o have gotten into Lucifer recently. I know, we’re way late to the party, but that’s par for the course.

My most used app? Probably the browser. I got rid of the YouTube app when o went on a YouTube purge a few years ago and I feel better not having it. It’s like I have more control.

A hobby I lost or gave up...? I used to play the flute, and the only reason I stopped was because I wasn’t in a band. I could start playing again, but how long would it be until my parents went crazy?

It's still not a lot but I could very well claim that, but this acc is three years old now and I'm finally actually starting to use it to create things! So most of those followers don't actually show up on the list of people lol. General rule of mine since I started doing things was subtract 21 because that's the amount of people that show up!

We've only chatted a few times but I just want to say, even if "Chrysalis" never gets updated it still is a phenomenal piece of writing. That work is the reason I started writing fanfic in the first place, knowing that you posted it because no one else would write the story you wanted for you was the spark I needed. When you post the next chapter I have no doubt that all the suspense will have been worth it and I'll be sure to be one of the first to comment ^-^
