// Begging won't help you. You know I have to ;p ✂ (@flashing-red)
Send me ‘✂’ and my muse will kill yours. Right now. Brutally, horribly, bloody. Just do it.Obviously, this is Noxian Erika, under the “Erika never left Noxus AU.”flashing-red
First person point of view, mainly character building, less brutal horrible bloody Katarina. Again, as with all “Noxian Erika” posts, this is an alternate universe, with Erika’s mind a total mess. Read More for length. And blood. As with the “kill Rhea” prompt, it makes no sense as to how Erika could have overpowered either of them. Just… pretend.
“I’m sick and tired of your games!”
That could not be my voice. I wasn’t the type to get angry or upset - that wasn’t the kind of person I was.
“I’m done letting you use me like I’m a-like your- like some sorta plaything!”
She snorted at me, and I hated that. It was as though she didn’t even care what sort of precarious situation she was in. The red-headed assassin started laughing, grinning through her reddened lips and teeth. Even with all those blows to her jaw and head, she still didn’t want to give up.
I wanted to think that it was funny… that she was trying her best to be strong before I killed her, that she was making sure I didn’t get any satisfaction in making her appear weak.
It was sort of… sickening.
It didn’t happen often, but she let her guard down.
That was the only way that I had been able to take advantage of the situation and put her into this bind. To be honest -
“Come on, Erika!”
- I couldn’t recall how I was able to muster up enough strength to knock her out. I (think that I) only punched her once, right in the nose, and she immediately fell to the ground. My body had moved on its own from that point -
“You realize that these bindings are nothing compared to the torture I’ve been through, right?”
- and somehow, here we were, in the basement of the Du Couteau manor, with Katarina tied up against the wall, and my fingers wrapped around the hilt of my katana. She was still staring at me, laughing hysterically as my hands shook.
“Come on. Try to kill me, kid.”
I bit my tongue and pointed the katana at her, pressing its sharp edge against her neck. “Shut up!”
“You’re cute, you know that?” she said, snorting. “When I get out of this -”
“Who said I’d let you out?!” I screeched, voice cracking. I let my hand slip slightly, and a small trickle of blood appeared on her neck. I quickly tugged my hand away without causing any further damage and watched as she squirmed under her restraints.
She chuckled again, causing her to spit out blood. “You’re funny. Real funny.” I simply stared at her coldly, biting my lip hard. “You know what, Erika…”
I glared at her as best I could, still holding the katana tight within one hand.
“I wonder what your sister would think of you.”
My eyes narrowed. “Don’t talk about her.”
“You’re nothing like her, from what I’ve observed. She’s a true, passionate Noxian soldier - of course, she’s merely a cog in the grand scheme of things, what with her faults of undying loyalty and naivete…”
I slammed the butt of my katana against the side of her head, and she immediately coughed up more blood.
“Think about it… She’s probably sleeping her way up the ranks…”
“My sister would never -”
“You… honestly think that hard work… alone… would make her into a Noxian commander…? How many years… she’s barely been around for four years…”
“Shut up!” I shouted, pointing the katana at her again.
“You’re both so stupid…” she whispered through coughing fits. “Your weaknesses… and flaws… You use your fear of not… being good enough… to pretend to be strong…”
My grip loosened, and I lowered my arm. What in the hell was she talking about?
“…Just like Talon…” She stared laughing again, not seeming to care that there were streams of blood running down her chin. “You say enough to be left alone, and you do what you’re told… You don’t resist… you don’t fight back…” Her head started bobbing back and forth. “…It’s the funniest… kind of prey…”
Finally, she let her head hang. “But the best… are the ones who try their damnedest… to stop the pain.”
“No…”
“You’ve fallen right into my trap, you know…”
“Shut up!”
“Haven’t… you ever wondered why I was pushing you around so much?”
“I’m not going to hear it.”
“…Kept making you see… what Noxus really is…?”
I forced her to look at my by pushing up on her chin with the hilt of my katana. “I am not like you.”
“Yes… you are.” She grinned again, that bloodstained smile engraved into my memory. “This is Noxus. And you’re apart of the game too.”
I raised the katana above my head and let out a feral scream as I swung it downward.
I quickly shut the door behind me and pressed my back against the wall. There was sweat all over my body, and even more blood from that wretched girl splattered on my clothes. As I gasped for air, I slid down and dropped to the ground, curling into a tight ball with my arms wrapped around my legs.
“Are you done?” His voice was low and husky, and I could tell that he was grinding his teeth together.
“Yes.”
“Are you satisfied with the choice you’ve made?”
He’s only trying to help, he’s trying to help you, don’t you dare spit some insult at him.
“Who are you, my mother?”
Great.
“Erika, I’m trying to help you.” He knelt and looked down at me from under his hood.
I shook my head, trying to hold back the tears which threatened to spill over.
“Just shut up.”
He sighed and placed his hand on my shoulder comfortingly. It didn’t seem like anything I was going to say would make him go away, so I simply looked up and stared into his steely brown eyes.
“…Are you happy now?”
I shook my head again, frowning.
“Erika -”
“I didn’t kill her.”
He squeezed a little harder, apparently accidentally.
“You-wait-you what?”
“I just said.” I bit my lip. “I didn’t kill her. I just- I couldn’t- and she- I can’t kill people, Tally…”
“You-”
“Shut up... please...”
I pressed my face into my knees and curled even harder into a tight ball. Feeling my body tremble uncontrollably, I let out a helpless cry, and within moments, froze as two arms wrapped around my back.
“Why are you crying if you spared her life?” he said softly, his arms tightening around me as hard as he could.
“I wanted to.” My voice was shaking, and I could barely speak. “She deserved to die, after all she put me - no, what she put us through.” I gulped and dug my fingers into his shoulders.
He sighed. “Shit, Erika…”
“I could’ve just… she was right there, and I could’ve ended her life, and it all would’ve been over…”
“You’re too kind for murder.”
My sobs strengthened, and I quickly refuted his statement. “I’ve already killed someone, don’t you re-”
“That doesn’t count,” he growled. “You didn’t kill her because you don’t have it in you to take a life. That isn’t a bad thing at all… You’re still a child, Erika… There’s no reason to stain your hands with blood,” he added in a calmer voice, leaning back and staring down at me. “You don’t kill people,” he repeated softly, taking my hands and holding them gently. “You don’t hurt people. That’s not you.”
“Talon...” I stared at him, and he tried to smile.
“Let’s get you cleaned up.” He glanced at the door and stood up slowly. “And we should probably get her... fixed before anyone notices.” Looking back down at me, he offered his hand, but I shook my head.
“...You can’t fix someone as broken as her.”
“You know that’s not what I meant.”
I shrugged and grabbed his hand, staggering to my feet. My fingers intertwined with his, and he squeezed my hand. “I guess...”
“Are you still scared?” he muttered, tugging me toward the door.
“No.”
“You’re trembling.”
“...No’m not.” I couldn’t feel my legs. Or my hands or my head or my body.
“You have me. We’re going to face her together... and judging by how quiet it is in there, you probably shut up her up quite effectively.”
“Or killed her. She lost a lot of blood,” I replied bluntly, my face devoid of emotion.
“...Don’t joke around like that.”
“...I’m not.”
“I don’t know what I’m going to do with you,” he said in a low voice, chuckling under his breath as he opened the door. “Let’s go.”
It was a long work night at the Bar and Bunny and Riven really just wanted to go home. She was harassed by several drunk, lecherous men who all ended up with a punch in the face. Luckily her manager understood. She also had the job of security around there, so she wouldn’t get fired for something as small as that.
The shift was almost over and the night was still young. Her section was empty and she had one last customer walk through the door. She just prayed it was a female, a gender she was actually attracted to, instead of just some pervert again. Her prayers were not only answered but exceeded! Looking to the front, she saw it was none other than the Katarina DuCouteau! This was a huge source of inspiration for Riven and, honestly, she had a huge idol crush on her! But she had to keep her cool around her. Taking a deep breath, she had to focus on her job.
Going over to the assassin, she smiled to her with a friendly grin and greeted her, “Welcome to the B&B! My name is Bunny and I’ll be your Riven today!..I-I mean my name is Riven and I’ll be your...bunny...today...” A small, awkward cough and embarrassed blush later, the bunny turned on her heel and let out, “Follow me, please.” Great. What a first impression. She probably looked so stupid!
The B&B consisted of a bar area, dining area, dance floor, and a showstage. The stage had show bunnies doing dances for entertainment purposes. Riven wouldn’t be caught dead on the stage and instead chose to be a waitress bunny. One would be able to see her bunny tail wiggle above her butt if the giant sword on her back wasn’t in the way. It was certainly out of place, but it was an extension of herself and she just couldn’t bare to be without it.
Setting a menu on the table, Riven would clear her throat and start with, “May I start you off with something to drink, Mistress Katarina?” She was quick to explain, “Oh! Uh, that’s just something we do here at the bar. Our job makes us call people Mistress and Master, but if it makes you uncomfortable I can stop on request..” Things just kept getting worse for her, it seemed.
Send O///O to put a collar and leash around my muses neck. MUTE M!A ON! flashing-red
Rayne, you’re horrible.
Erika started tugging and pulling at the collar, silent protesting the action. Within moments, Katarina moved into her line of sight, a smirk on her face. Freezing up immediately, Erika quickly dropped her hands and swallowed the lump in her throat. She stared fearfully at the Noxian and tried to crawl away, until she realized that Katarina was holding a leash tightly in one hand.
