What do you think of Evan doing Martial Arts?
I think it's cool, it's something he would never have the confidence to do unless he went through a lot of self repair and had someone encourage him (cough Gregory) but I feel like it'd be so good for him, make him feel stronger and more confident, and like a comfort to himself bc he has means to protect and defend himself now when he used to not
I'm curious, you've mentioned in your AU that Ms.Afton left the family with Elizabeth but I wanna ask, did she ever try to contact them or did she just completely abandon Michael and Evan? And if it's the latter is Evan upset about it? Do you think he will try to reconnect with her later?
in the au ms Afton took Elizabeth and left a longgg time ago, like while Evan was kindergarten age. so yeah he does remember his mom and sister but he doesn't remember enough to truly have a relationship with them and miss them as people. Evan is more upset that he didnt get lucky enough to be brought away from Michael and his father than anything, but he gives that up when he meets Gregory because hes happy things happened the way they did. even if it meant he didn't experience the misery of his young childhood pre-gregory hypothetically if he was with his mom he wouldn't want to risk never meeting Gregory in a scenario like that. so it kinda knocks away some more inner turmoil from Evan too
ppl should explore the concept that before mimic knew Gregory existed in its hw1 generation era, if it eventually felt a draw to Gregory it probably liked Evan a lot
