The idea is to trace the life path of your character through key moments of their growing up, changes, and development. Show how they transform - from the very beginning to the final point in their story.
You can draw the life stages of your OC (original character) or any other hero. For inspiration, I’ve prepared a sample 7-step plan, but following it is not mandatory - it’s just a guide! Choose the stages that best tell your character’s unique story.
Sample stages for inspiration:
1. Birth. The character as a baby or the moment of their "coming into the world."
2. Childhood. First steps, discovering their abilities, or early learning.
3. Youth. First big journey or the start of their career.
4. Trial. First serious battle or loss.
5. Mastery. Peak of strength, power, and skills.
6. Fame. The character whose name everyone knows.
7. Legacy. Wise old age: guarding the new generation and passing on knowledge.
Draw all the stages or just the most important ones—the key is to have fun! Be sure to use the hashtag #CharacterEvolution so we can find all the artwork and admire it together.
